  1. See post 8 here for a full history/details .... and then add Lindinis. Therefore, there are currently 12 for UK and Ireland (but cover a few other places as well).
  2. Ohhh errrrr! you might have it!. You've not done any of mine, I've not done any of yours. We have been to some events in common, one had a lot of 10's in the date another way hosted by WB&BW. Good luck Lindinis Oh dear .... I might need to put my thinking cap on again. I have definitely done a few caches of the person I am thinking of (including the only DNF on one of your caches .... it had gone missing) Although, to be fair I haven't done any of the most recent ones.
  3. If that's the prize .... then I am going to withdraw my guesses Another possible name has come into my head. If I am correct (not naming them here) then they haven't done any of my caches. So have you done any of my caches Lindinis?
  4. That was my immediate thought when I googled and found Ilchester, but.... now I'm going to put my neck on the block and say that I don't think it is Les as he would be reviewing caches in our own area and probably wouldn't manage to avoid looking at the hints I'll be happy to be proved wrong though But as far as Groundspeak is concerned .... Dorset and Somerset aren't in the South West (even though the rest of the world know we are!)
  5. Ok - my initial thought was Darapotter. (and the Les I'm thinking of is Achaos)
  6. Jumps in with both feet........... Hi and welcome to Les? That person was my second choice/guess. I have someone else in mind as my first choice/guess.
  7. Europe's First (GC43) is always on people's to do list when they go anywhere near Dublin. It is a nice walk from Bray seafront and I would also recommend the one further up Bray Head GCVKVW I enjoyed this Dublin city centre multi ... especially the final hide. GC1EQ2H (Ancient Symbol)
  8. Assuming that tvchick is asking about caching in Ireland ..... Have a look at Geocaching Ireland website for more information.
  9. Mine still weren't working (3.16.12) .... but I have just cleared all my cookies etc and the four things that I knew weren't working are back to normal now.
  10. There is a new (regular size) cache near Tower Bridge GC2GNE7 GC10: Tower Bridge
  11. Huh, given you've got 206 bones in your body you can only have less than 1% out of action. Call that an excuse?!!!! PS: Get well soon. But it is 25% of my useful caching bones Think I need to look at your 'Accessible' bookmark list
  12. I have had a problem for a couple of days (possibly since I did a firefox update to 3.6.11) .... but mine are slightly different. (I don't use the scripts you mentioned) 1) I can't decrypt the hint .... just jumps to the top of the page. 2) The small Google map at the bottom of the cache page is blank .... until I click on it to view nearby caches. It then opens up a new window. 3) Can't expand the GC number box to view http://coord.info/xxxxxx link 4) Can't select an attribute when creating a PQ I have disabled Greasemonkey, but it doesn't make any difference. (The cache page is ok with Safari, so I assume a firefox issue) But as I can't go out caching for a while .... I wasn't too worried about it.
  13. Even though I have an image ready, I can't add it to here. I have had similar problems on these forums before, even though I use the same method (without problems) with images on GAGB forums using Slide.com Please can someone else post the next question/picture instead.
  14. GC1XT11 Grand Prix de MONACO - Virage de la Piscine.
  15. I was listening to the podcast yesterday and also noticed the website message. I had look on the ukgcpodcast twitter account and saw that he reported broadband and website just over a week ago. .... so looks like a temporary glitch.
  16. Stuey has a bookmark here of UK challenge caches. Also, there was a forum thread last month about icon challenge caches. Click here
  17. The GAGB 'Geocachers Code of Conduct' is on the back.
  18. I agree, it would be useful to get a gpx of specific owner's caches and I have in the past created my own bookmark of a specific owner just to get a PQ (but very time consuming). If it is the Channel Link series you are specifically interested in .... the Evil Poles have already created a bookmark, so you can use that to generate a PQ.
  19. Don't give up it's easy. If I can do it, believe me you can! - on your cache log click on 'upload an image for this log' and upload the image - when that's done, click on the picture to open it - use that URL to to put it onto the forum using the insert link icon MrsB might be along shortly. She is quite good at explaining things. She's also kind of UK Geocaching Royalty, so you have to refer to her as ma'am or your maj'. See my post a few above this one ...... is that your picture you wanted to post? If so, you were almost there as you had already added it to your log. I just opened the image from your log (or you can do it from your gallery). Copied the url and pasted it into then 'insert image' icon along the top of the box you type in (looks like a tree) . I always preview my post first to check it looks ok. Then post it. Go on ... try it
  20. My sentiments entirely! But when you do solve one FMC, at least you don't just write a TFTC log
  21. Have a look at Haggis Hunter's bookmark lists for ideas .... although he states that he doesn't update them anymore.
  22. I think this is the coin It was placed in GC24MT8 (Hampton Hill area) today and wants to get to GC2A0ZN near Hyde Park over the weekend. There must be someone in London area that can help with this mission.
