  1. I'd love it if the "New" symbol was linked to when the cache was published vs when it was planted. Some cachers, who are working out details on their caches, may not submit these for approval until maybe a couple of weeks after the actual date the cache was placed. It would not show up as new on the map page or the site listing - but it is new to all of us who want to hunt it down. I have several bookmark listings of areas that I would like to keep up to date, adding caches as they come available - right now I have to weed through all the "newest listings in the state" back a few weeks to catch these newly published-but not newly placed caches. Anyone else think this might be a good change?
  2. To Team Misguided: I'm reeeally curious ... In what county do you reside, or is that asking too much? If that's asking too much - forgive me --
  3. I'd love to go! Depending on the date. Friday, Saturday, or Sundays are good for me. Count me in.
  4. Here's another! Cascade Loop
  5. Here's a couple more; these should be "all inclusive". If you find any that are omitted, please let me know - but I check the listings often. Orcas Island San Juan Island
  6. LOL Oh MY GOSH....I can't really tell you what this did to me after viewing the cache page....had to change clothes.
  7. I'm a bit relieved. I thought maybe my email spamanator was somehow filtering out the new cache notifications, but I was still receiving notifications on my watchlist items. Phew! Now to get this feature fixed! It's one of my favorite features.
  8. Thanks! I didn't really think of it that way. That would be easiest.
  9. I received an email from a cacher who liked a couple of my public bookmark lists. They would like to save one of the bookmark lists as a bookmark list on their own account. Is there an easy way to do this? How would one do this?
  10. 51) Not all obsessions are bad ones (caching is a good one in my book)
  11. I just had to add my vote....Before parking coords were downloadable, I was creating additional waypoints in GSAK with the suffix PK so that they all sorted together with their associated cache. That way, I could easily find and delete the two if a cache was archived. This was nice & simple. I have to be careful now...can't just drag & drop the file into GSAK. I have to screen through the new listings for those extra coords & delete/rename/etc. before adding them to my main GSAK database. There is probably an easier way to do this, but I'm "technically handicapped".
  12. Congratulations Rey del Roble! #1000, woohoo!! Great job! I see Lajoie 5 reached 700 at the same cache. Congrats to you also Janna!!!!
  13. Yep, mine isn't working either, so it must be site-wide. Hope it's fixed soon as I use this feature a lot.
  14. YESSSS!!!!! I have a 2 yr old and had a PQ to pull up "Wheelchair Accessible" caches just so I'd know which ones I could take her on. She's not old enough to trust that she'd stay right with me while I was digging around in bushes for a cache, and I didn't want to park her stroller 20-30 feet away from me while I hunted down the final location - just too dangerous in this day & age. The wheelchair accessible PQ still left out many caches that would not have been for a wheelchair, but would have been fine for a stroller. I am absolutely thrilled that you have added this attribute. Thank you so much!!!
  15. Yay!! We finally know. Congratulations Malandro95!! Yes - do include pictures when you get it!
  16. Congrats to Johnny Boy and DB Cooper on your 500th find!!!
  17. No "slams" on my part. Just curious whether anyone had received by mail the name of the winner and could post it here. Yep, after I found out I could enter the contest weekly without having to find a yellow jeep, or "hope" that my photo received enough votes, etc., I began entering weekly. Is there some sort of legal technicality that would prohibit someone who knows from posting the name of the winner here?
  18. I got a new Garmin WOOHOO, as my old one was an "antique"!, a backpack, and a headlamp. You should've seen my christmas list....ammo cans, bison tubes, etc. No shiny baubles (sp?) for this chick.
  19. Here's three of mine. These should include "all" caches for each. If I'm missing any, please let me know: Camano Island Caches Fidalgo Island Caches Whidbey Island Caches
  20. I'm also having trouble viewing "My account". I can get my profile, but not my account. I'm going to get to my pocket queries the direct route (thanks for that info Keystone).
  21. O.K. It's Dec 25th. The drawing was supposed to be held Dec 19th. Who won the big Jeep? Naw, I didn't have a lick of a chance to win, but really curious if it was someone from my area.
  22. It'd be nice if they left the "voting" out this round. Too much of a popularity contest...
  23. Oh my gosh!! I must have some sort of ESP...... I sent an email to the Herald the same day the article came out about geocaching. My email was a request that the Herald do a story on Geocaching and gave them a couple of names to contact for interviews, etc. I don't get the middle of the week paper, so was unaware that they were publishing a story the same day I sent the request. I didn't get a response back from the Herald and am just finding out today from this forum that the story was published on Nov 29th. Just gotta be ESP
  24. Thanks for the reply! I got through on your link. So the Jeep Drawing won't be held until December 19th. I'll put that on my calendar.
  25. I searched for the answer to this, but couldn't find it. The Jeep site has removed the information on contest end dates (at least as far as I searched for it - I might have missed it somehow). When was the drawing date for the actual Jeep (grand prize) for the 2005 contest end? If that has already taken place, who won?
