  1. Is no one from GC going to look into this? The issue is still happening and confirmed my email server is processing it as the BCC to my email address is receiving the reply.
  2. Not a picture of me, but a friend while we were out caching together. What else do you do when you stumble across a hole in the ground with a shovel nearby?https://www.geocaching.com/seek/log.aspx?LUID=4974e614-8429-4141-aa10-2fc73a6598b6
  3. I frequently get messages about my earthcache through the message center, and up until the changes in October have always been able to reply to the email I received which would post into the message center. Now when I reply to the email, nothing is happening in the message center which leads me to believe my replies are not going through. Cheers, Ge0Patr0l
  4. Is anyone else having issues with replying to messages through email and it not showing up in the message center? I reply to messages I get through the MC via email, and it sends without an issue but I don't see my reply in the message center so I'm unable to confirm my reply is actually getting sent/received.
  5. I'm also still experiencing issues with this. I had 2 messages sent with responses to my earth cache but never received email notifications.
  6. 8/25/2014 ... more than 2 years ago! My bad, I had copied the wrong GC code I was looking at. As I dug into it further the cache I was actually expecting is 49.9 km away according to GSAK and my radius is 50km so I suppose some rounding could have excluded it.
  7. Looks like my notifications aren't working either. GC5B4H3 was published on 8/25 and I never received a notification. It's under 3km from my notification coordinates with a 50km radius.
  8. To go a little further on this, what about those who send the following instead of answers? "My English is bad and I couldn't understand all the questions so I didn't answer any."
  9. Funny how this topic has progressed. My opinion and plan is to just leave it because as many have pointed out, it's not really worth the time to concern myself over. I was just curious about others thoughts.
  10. The container was in place in Oct 2014, but no longer as we picked them up before moving. I've since re-used many of the containers and replaced the logbooks and the old ones are long gone.
  11. Question for the group on how others would handle this. We moved away from an area in July of 2015 and went through picking up and archiving our caches since we would no longer be close enough to maintain them. We recently had a very old backlogged find (Oct 2014) on one of those caches. At this point the log book is gone so there's no evidence that it's a legitimate find, but I can't disprove it either. How would others handle it? Let it be? Delete the log? Thanks in advance!
  12. Is the map going to allow moving around and rebuilding the caches as it did previously? It was really nice for planning trips to look where I'm going and see it all on a map further then 50km out and along various routes without having to build a pocket query.
  13. There is no encrypted text, it's just garbling it to be unreadable. I'm using Earwigo to create the cartridge, the Wherigo is http://coord.info/GC57790. If you PM me your email address I can send you a backup of the cartridge so you can take a look through.
  14. I'm having an issue with my Wherigo when played in the iPhone app only. It works with Android (WhereYouGo) and on the Garmin Oregon. The problem is I have an item that shows up when you enter the zone with 5 actions associated with it (it's a book with 5 pages to read). Once I read page 4, all of the text on message becomes garbled. So 'if you believe the answer is x, go to N50 01.ABC W114 04.DEF' becomes 'a1fnba asdfbowsdfb aalsd4521-mdasf' or some random text variation thereof. There's no fancy logic or if/else statements, it's pretty much a zone by zone walk through with hidden zones until you enter them. Thanks in advance.
  15. Does anyone know how to bulk load waypoints/geocaches into the in dash navigation of my chevy silverado as points of interest? I was hoping to drop a GPX file or something through the USB connection but I haven't found if that's possible or if it needs to be another format.
