Allows you to lock a particular cache as a milestone...too force a certain cache find as the milestone. You can change a milestone cache by hitting the edit button and choosing the one that was actually your milestone cache.....this may need to be done for example if you mess up your logging and the cache that you did for 1000 is not listed correctly for some reason.....Yes you can unlock at anytime and change if needed!!!!

+1 Groundspeak is now allowing them to be deleted by doing the following: Go to: labs.geocaching.com Log in using your Geocaching Lab credentials. There is an innocent looking down arrow on the upper right of the screen. Click on it. Click on ">> View Your Logs" Your logs will appear with a trash can icon on the right side. Click and away they go......It is however un-reversible....So be sure this is what you want to do!

I have a Galaxy s4 and a Garmin Oregon 450 and find that both are great....The Oregon is a bit more accurate in the thick woods. I tend to use the phone for all around caching and only use the Garmin now for long hike/bikes, mainly for it's battery life....which the phone doesn't not last long away from a charging source Prefer the phone, because I like to log as I go, saves a lot of time at the end of the day not having to long a days worth of caches!!!!! PS My caching buddy uses his Galaxy s3 in the same manner as is happy with it's accuracy also.....

I use the technology that fits the situation..... If out for a hike...The trusted Garmin 450 is the equipment of choice because of the battery life....and log as I go with my smartphone-Samsung Galaxy s4....If driving around doing park-n-grabs and short trips from the geocar for a few caches I prefer the smartphone so I can log as I go....I hate have to log 30-100 caches at the end of the day...which can take hours...when I could be having a cold one!!!!! As for software on the smartphone I have been using c:geo predominantly for the past couple of years, but have recently started using cachesense because they also show munzees, which I have recently taken a liking to seeing I have found most caches within an hour from home.....and needed an additional fix []....but they are just fillers...my heart is with geocaching!!!!!!

Thanks for the advice... That seems like a viable workaround for the time being... Hopefully they will incorporate them....

You can drop it back in the cache that you retrieved it from by using the "Note" option....

If the Cache Lab caches are ONLY going to count towards your total finds and not to your milestone finds then I would like the option to delete them.....I really enjoyed doing the 5 that I did recently....BUT...If they are not going to count towards milestones then are they really a find? It would be nice if just maybe goecaching.com could address this as I am sure I am not the only one that feels this is a mistake.... Kinda feel like I have been hoodwinked.....This should have been publicized better...If is was at all.

What happen to the "old" way of reporting a new cache......The "new" way is completely time consuming for those of us that have reported a bunch of caches.....Please consider bringing back the older option.....Personally I hate the "user friendly only option"!!!!!!

Just started getting the same Server 500 error when trying to open profile page.....over pages seem to be working!?!?!?!?!
