  1. You sneaky man. I felt someone watching. Did you notice when I stood up at WP3 and started looking around? So how long did you tail us? You remind me of another EVIL Dr. on the other side of the pond. Are you sure you don't have some of his EVIL blood in you? How did he get you over to the EVIL side? Lot's of questions here to answer!
  2. quote:Originally posted by Moun10Bike:Hey http://www.ebaumsworld.com/peanutbutter.shtml (and everyone else!)> That is SO funny! Leave it to MTB to find something like that. LOL. Looking forward to having you join us. Now what did you say your PB Sandwich recipe is? Donna (Official PBB Member) Gotta run and do some cache pages now. I placed three this weekend. Super easy. Be watching!
  3. Wienerdog said: quote:EDIT: Dang! Is there a way to run a spell check on the forums? George replied: quote:I use Quickspell, a free download from http://www.fornada.com/html/home.html It checks your spelling on just about everthing that you type on. Thanks George I will try that! See you in Spokane!
  4. quote:Originally posted by Moun10Bike:I hope that you'll let me tag along with the PBB someday. Work will prevent me from doing so most of the time, but I suppose I should be thankful - I just escaped the first round of layovers that my group has ever had! YES! Of course you can come with us sometime MTB! But as we told EGH, you must bring a PB sandwich AND we need to know what your recipie is . About work. I have always had more people pounding at my door wanting me to contract for them. I run my business out of my home. This is the first time in my whole life in this profession that I don't have a contract! Everyone you talk to is being effected by the economy, they themselves or someone they know. I have a caching buddy that is a professional in her field. She is feeling it also! We will hope and pray this doesn't effect you! EDIT: Dang! Is there a way to run a spell check on the forums?
  5. Evergreenhiker! said about his sandwich: quote:My PB sandwiches are with Jiffy Smooth and Bacon Bits and usually on whole wheat bread. Okay, that sounds strange enough to me. You will do just fine. If you would of said 'I like PB and Jelly on white bread'. I probably would of thought....this guy is strange!
  6. Oops! Somehow I messed this up! [This message was edited by Wienerdog on August 01, 2003 at 08:33 AM.]
  7. Evergreenhiker said: quote:Sounds good! So when are we going John?????? You do know you must bring a Peanut Butter Sandwich with you don't you? I can be any kind of bread with anything on it. It's base must be Peanut Butter! I just got home from out wonderful day. Lucy and I went out to dinner afterwards. We are both stuffed and sleepy. Congrats. Moun10bike. Did you see the trail we found for you? So Mr. EGH when are we going? I want to grab the 3 new LucyandRickie caches in that area also! Do you think you could stand being with 4 crazy woman? We have VERY interesting conversations.'Now girls we are going to have to be on our best behavior and watch our language, we have a very nice man with us today' When did you say we are going?
  8. First I want to say to Fledermaus: The caches over there are wonderful! I have been there twice (not with the Cache Machine) and have truly enjoyed myself. It's so easy to get to. For Northenders and Eastsiders, you can take the ferry from Edmonds and it's just a short drive. Or the ferry from Seattle. I like the peaceful way (Edmonds)You could grab a bunch in one day! Hey Mr. Bat, How come you keep hiding RED MENACE from me every time I cache there? quote:Originally posted by Criminal:Except you forgot Gig Harbor, home of some of the best caches. Also the original home of the Night Only series. Criminal: I did my own, what I called, My Bremerton-PortOrchard-GigHarbor Tour. I took the ferry then went down and around the Narrows to come home. There are some great caches there also. On my tour cache I stayed one night at the Motel-8. Decent and resonable. I am definitely going back over. There are tons more since last summer when I was there.
  9. This is a great idea! My brother-in-law recently visited the place. He told me he knelt on the ground bowing and with his hands waving up and down saying....I am not worthy! I wasn't there to see this and he may have been kidding around, but it was important to him. Right RR? I think this would be a tremedous thing to do. People would come from everywhere to see it!
  10. quote:Originally posted by TotemLake:A belated congrats on #800 EGH! I wish I could keep up with you folks. Cheers! TL Well Totem Lake! You could start by congrats. to him on his 900th find! Just had to tease you a little bit . Still wish we could of all met you at the picnic. Dang! What am I doing on these forums again? Help! I need to go get cache pages and maps for tomorrow!
  11. Gee thanks Leatherman! I am going caching the next day or so and then I will practice doing this. I have a new couple caches planned in the near future.
  12. Criminal....you silly guy! You changed it back! Now I suppose if I go look at it tomorrow morning we will see you lost amongst the trees again! I like this one!
  13. When writing up a cache page how do I post a picture on the page? I'm note talking about "spoiler" pics., but pictures I have taken with my didital camera. Or downnloaded from a friend. Mostly ones I took myself. Also how do you accomplish this without loosing all that resolution. The ones you download with a log find always look scritchy! AND can I post a picture I have gotten off the internet? Like a picture of something referring to the cache. A theme item for example. I have seen EraSeeks pages with photos and pictures of paintings. I don't know how to do this. Any input would be great Thanks, Donna (WD)
  14. What I am SEEING geocaching! Maybe I am SEEING Geo-hallucinations! Has anyone SEEN Criminals picture. I have never SEEN Criminal before. I am now SEEING Jeremy. Kind of. I SEE Jeremy's eyebrow is broken! I SEE the Geo-Sign. I don't know what I SEE. Scarey! I SEE I better go to bed now. I can SEE I am not SEEING clearly. I can SEE my little mascot sleeping quietly in the upper corner. I SEE that's where I need to be! EDIT EDIT EDIT! CRIMINAL! YOU CHANGED YOUR AVATAR THIS MORNING! Now people are going to think I REALLY am crazy! [This message was edited by Wienerdog on July 25, 2003 at 10:35 AM.]
  15. quote:Originally posted by George501949:All right, all right, all right, count me in. I'll start saving my nickels so I can make the trip. George....I don't remember anyone twisting your arm. You wanted to be there all along EIT: I fixed my post. DARN Criminal [This message was edited by Wienerdog on July 25, 2003 at 02:32 PM.]
  16. quote:Originally posted by evergreenhiker!:Got the big find today...well yesterday now! http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=67f9f7f9-9730-425c-acb7-f95017aa9030 Congratulations John. Wish I could of been there! I miss the backpacking days! That is a splendid area. Anything between Snoqualmie and Stevens Pass both the east and west slopes is a dream.
  17. quote:Originally posted by EraSeek:Looks like I'm going to have to ad ''seen quicksand close-up'' Yeah, really. Stepped in some while planting my latest cache (not up yet) The World at Low Tide. Very gravelly sand. Supersaturated. Went right down to my knee. I was holding onto my canoe and just pulled myself back out. So EraSeek.....this 'Quicksand" is near your new cache? Does that mean I will have to add an addendum to my poem? As I neared a cache with my page in hand, I suddenly found myself up to the neck in sand. Being swallowed by gulps in this part of the land, EraSeek where are you? Please give me a hand! Donna
  18. Don't forget SUPER EIGHT! On two of my own personal caching expeditions: Cache-O-Ganza to Cle-Elum & Ellensburg and my Bremerton-GigHarbor-PortOrchard Tour, I stayed in the Super Eight's. They were clean and comfortable and I felt safe being woman alone. MR. WD has stayed in the one in Spokane twice while on business and swears by it. They are usually located close to the Hwy. The ones I stayed in were far enough away so that I didn't hear the cars at night. AND they took dogs. I know MTB won't have that problem this time being close to home, but our little mascot needs a place to sleep. Walliedawg & GeonutDan? If you come are you bringing Meesha?
  19. Have to put my 2 cents worth in about the PBB's great trip to Return to Jetty Island by EraSeek. What a fun day! We felt so welcomed by Ranger Hansen who spotted Pepper and I with our GPS's in hand. He seemed to like us geocachers and had no problem with it at all. Oh boy, someone official that likes geocachers! Besides the two we placed and of course EraSeeks (the first one to place) there is another one we placed entering the park. Thank goodness for CachinCin for taking the task of getting the pages ready. That's a lot of work! We found the most amazing 'JELLY' fish there. See picture of her on my log! A beauty. A special thanks to EraSeek! Donna (Official member of the Peanut Butter Brigade)
  20. Oops! Sorry Cin. I got so excited i just didn't se your post! Donna
  21. Great! Thanks Jeremy, for letting us continue to use Groundspeak to post the Cache Machines. I want to go of course. Criminal, why don't you come with us. We will have fun. I haven't got to meet you yet! I did a couple of your caches last summer. John (Evergreenhiker!) my caching bud. You are so funny. I remember when fishing season started, now backbacking season and hunting coming up in the fall. For some silly reason you just keep on caching. Pepper, I'm not suprised to see your post already! Cin? Do you get to come this time? Oh boy, I better slow down here. Just happy to see the post! Thanks Travis.
  22. Whoops! That was suppose to be LUNCH.
  23. The person below me is taking his luch break right now!
  24. I am 12. My husband is 10 years older. That must make him 22? We have 2 grandchildren now.
  25. I thoroughly enjoyed Eraseek's thread on WHAT I'VE SEEN CACHING. Instead of the big rush to grab a cache it was nice to take a moment to write about the things we have seen that we appreciate and are grateful for. It certainly brought some peace into my afternoon. Try it you'll like it! Thanks EraSeek, for taking time to stop and smell the roses!
