  1. Well you don't have to give the user name, but you can mention the on TV persona. Yeah I'm curious. Who? Can't stand it ...... do tell Markus! Hints?
  2. MR got home last night and we were able to adjust our plans for that weekend. So we are going to sign up for this! It just sounds like it will be too much fun! I need to read the cache page better. Is it 4:00 PM? Then dinner? Then the tour cache with Shunra?
  3. Oh! You sound like a nice guy! Well Butch Cachedy... I hope you have many more happy years together.
  4. I'm not sure if we can make this event because of possible plans that weekend. But I'm not going to say no yet, just in case. Things could change! I do want to say this however. We just got back from geocaching in the Port Townsend area last Saturday with evergreenhiker! Boy, did we have fun! The caches are great over there. We enjoyed all of them. In fact, there is a series we have been collecting the numbers for; Sweet Sixteen. It's actually done by the people that started this thread, the bumblingbs. So... we highly recommend going to this!
  5. Which one are you referring to?
  6. Cool Oregone! Where have you been keeping yourself lately? I miss your entertaining logs. In fact, last weekend, when we were driving around in circles (on a certain local island) looking for how to get to some caches, MR WD said..."Boy, if Oregone was around and doing this, he would surely tell an interesting story!" Donna WD
  7. WOW! That's for sure. Congrats. to you MedicOne
  8. What they said. When Geocaching starts to feel like going to work what's the point.
  9. Hey! I think this is cool you guys. Here I am up in North Seattle/Shoreline area poking my nose into your thread! Seriously... I think it's a good thing. it will be fun to watch you people post and hear what's going on over there. A thread like this can be positive and fun. The Eastside thread has been that way for a long time. So have fun! We will be watching and maybe get to know you all a bit better! Donna (WD)
  10. Ever since we started geocaching and picked our name, we have had trouble . With the spelling that is! We have been harrassed and tortured by certain people. Actually it's all been in fun! They have joked with us constantly about the spelling. Right E.? So today I go to check my email and there is this contest on MSN. Brought to you by Oscar Meyer. You can make a wish and get a ride of the Oscar Meyer...... W-I-E-N-E-R-Mobile!!!! Check it out: Oscar Meyer WIENER- Mobile Contest. Nee, ner! PS This isn't an advertisment to enter the contest. Just a confirmation!
  11. I have three boxes to hide. I want to hide them up here in North Seattle/Shoreline. It's a strange area. It's tough finding a park that doesn't have a cache in it. The parks are small it can be hard to double up and stay within the guidlines. We don't have all that undeveolped land like the North or Eastside does. I have to get out and look around somemore.
  12. Congrats. Navigatorz on your 800th! We enjoyed doing your caches on our Wenatchee visit. You too Patudles, we enjoyed your caches as well! May I ask? What does "Cache-cadian" mean? Donna (WD)
  13. YES! Happy Birthday to Pepper today. Sunday may 9th. AND to you MA! Were you caching when you got your present?
  14. Hmmm I have always loaded waypoints using the serial port, a holdover from the G-3 G-V. I don't think EasyGPS will work with USB yet.
  15. Unless the owner has some compelling objection, go for it. After all, the whole idea of Geocaching is to find something that someone else has hidden. We had trouble with The Bog cache, relocated it and had the option to save the name or call it something else. We opted to rename it because it was in a completely different area and it is (was) a very interesting area to visit and for all practical purposes it was a new cache and renaming it would bingo it back to the new listing page. Woof, that’s a lot of ands.
  16. If you are in Autorouting mode yes, the map will come up every time. The screen you are looking for will appear when you choose 'off road' for navigation.
  17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JOHN EVERGREEN! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! evergreenhikers! b-Day was on Wed. the 5th! Your friends, Donna, MR and Chloe
  18. Don't mean to get off topic here. Just wanted to say to Linda... it's been along time. Glad to see you back again. You always have such informative answers!
  19. That's to bad. EraSeek, do you think it was the crows? Those guys will go after anything this time of year. We have a greenbelt behind our house. One spring the crows were back there knocking the eggs out of the nests. It was so sad. A couple of 12 year old girls in the neighborhood kept bringing me these.... not ready to be hatched yet... babie birds, asking me what to do. Of course there was nothing I could do. They would just sit there with them in their hands until they passed on.
  20. Oh dear! That happened to me this week. My husband insisted we stay home and get something done. We worked in the yard all day Saturday. Raking leaves we never raked last fall and pulling up the dead shrubs that died last summer because I forgot to water them. How did I make it through the day? Once in awhile I would sneak into the house and check out the forums. It helped a bit. THEN... I saw people chatting away in the middle of the day on the threads when they could of been out caching this beautiful Seattle day. What's up with that? Anyway... we went caching today! But we were both sore from doing that dang yardwork. Humph!
  21. Crimiinal... I apologize for not staying on topic in this thread. EDIT! Okay... I see. You are talking about that other thread. I had to come back and edit this. I got confused. You sounded upset and I just wanted to make things better. I think I'm tired from all the yardwork and need to hit the sack. Sheesh! Here I go again. Not staying on topic. Well everyone knows I did yard work today and didn't cache See what happens to me when I don't. I get all crazy. I think I better go now...........
  22. Great log! For Sure! Regarding the history and story.I still had visions after returning from Eastern WA while logging this cache. I know this is about logging.... but there is another cache in the area that I just loved. It is a difficult hide. The page talks about fishing. There is a fishing hole there......but wait until you see what you get to search through when you get there! Some old items that make your imagination soar! This one: FISH TILL YOU RIDE RUSTS
  23. Ohmygoodness! I just came in to take a break from working in the yard. I want to go cachining It looks like there's a bunch of you are sitting around your computers today.... sharing thoughts. Anybody want to come over and do yardwork? EDIT: See... I'm so frustrated I spelled caching wrong. I want to go outside and play with my GARMIN LEATHERMAN! Uh, oh... I better run and hide now!
