  1. Again sorry but I still think as a F t 13th coin a clown does not make sence. An evil black cat er something maybe... then you add the fact I hate clowns and it brought out the worst in me, my bad.
  2. Your right A Psycho or other FT13th logo would have been much better. CLOWNS Suck! I know because of the dumb evil "IT" looking clown I won't buy one. It could have been a cool coin but it's NOT. WOW i am shocked to see such rude and negative people involved with geocoins or geocaching. I fell sorry for your local geocachers having to put up with people like you. Me and my kids had fun with making it and we are happy to see people like you will not be buying it. Thanks for the kind words from elsewhere. Mike and the Kids WOH Sorry. Not trying to be rude at all. I just have a serious hate of clowns and when we looked at this coin as a Ft13th coin a clown did not make sence. Thats all. Sorry if I came off rude. I know alot of people who don't like clowns, the happy or evil kind. I do like the back of the coin :-) Again Sorry it a clown thing.

  4. Simple & show off the tag without competing with the sherpa! AYE! I would be in for that one!
  5. just like the actual Sherpa, it's very hard to separate the tag from the coin. Just what is the reason were NOT allowed to talk about trackable Pathtags anyware in Geocaching.coms happy little world? Because their not trackable on GC.com or because they don't pay GC.com for tracking numbers? Maybe some other reason for the CENSORSHIP? Humm? Sherpas show and tell their Pathtags from cache to cache just like any other coin or trading item. Were not talking about something bad here when we mention PTs Geez... Who started the fight between Pathtags.com and Geocaching.com anyway? Thats what I want to know!
  6. I don't look at this forum often enough... Sad but true, my daughter took ours to her 2nd grade class for show and tell and LOST IT! Best intentions gone wrong. Now the coin is MIA... Least I could do is pay for shipping or something? PM sent
  7. Hi I need to ask if I may buy a replacement coin from you. I got a silver Blue Star Military Geocoin from you and thank you so much for your thoughtfullness. Use TB1DTBT to reference this item on GC.com However my 7 year old daughter took it to school to show and tell and now it is missing. I felt sick... looked for it for over a week now but were shure it's found someone not willing to turn it in to lost & found. Please let me know how I can get a replacement Silver coin from you if they are any left. Thanks again for your support USGC MAGC member

  10. Along with everyone in the MAGC, we would like to pass on our heart-felt thanks to everyone involed with the Blue Star geocoin. It is a truly wonderful thing to do for us. Thank you! Couldn't say it any better than that. Got mine from the mail box today. AWESOME!
  11. This is so wrong on so many levels! Make a band aid medal or something to represent the CACHING version. Don't use or disfigure the Purple Heart! It is disrespectful to those who serve and have died to protect our country and our freedoms. Whats would be next? Wow, I just read the report and the geocacher had to go to the hospital after slipping on ice! I'm not sure how serious geocaching injuries tend to be but climbers get serious injuries, lost limbs and loss of life often enough in the pursuit of their chosen activity. At least one skier has died on a backcountry ski mountaineering route I descended and 7 people died in a single season on a mountain the season I climbed it. I've also participated in the rescue of an injured climber that slid/fell over 200 feet on Mount Hood. When coming back from an ice climbing trip, I met a retired ice climber who said she quit the hobby after too many of her friends died doing it. However, even with all of that, climbing is still a hobby and, as such, is different than defending one's country. If the men and women who defend this country are upset that the people they defend want to use the design of their medal for those of their own that get injured (and may possibly die one day) in hobbies, that is something to consider.
