I keep a personal journal of my finds. Easy ones like lightpoles just get a few words but other caches get more words! I usually like to note any "adventure" I had getting to the cache and where the cache was found. There have been times when I've gone back through the journals (one notebook for every 1,000 finds) and enjoy remembering the hunt!

Can anyone help me? I have a Garmin 62s and would like to delete all the logs from the unit. There are a lot of caches loaded for events that I know I won't get back to find and would like to have everything cleared out. Thanks!

So, where do you go in Groundspeak to report a problem?

Their names or initials were not on any of my cache logs. I checked a couple caches that had recently been placed that I had already found and no name or group name. Found another one like that today. There were 86 caches "found" by one of them, I didn't check to see if the other one cached that many too. I emailed the major geocaches in this area. Two emailed back and said oh yes, they know of these cachers and they have a bad reputation. Another cacher checked her caches today and their names weren't on any of hers.

Thanks, geocat! Yes, two cachers "found" all five of my caches. They logged a lot of caches in the area today and yesterday and I thought it was odd since many of them were hard and time consuming. Thought I'd check my caches and neither name was on any of the logs. When I did some caching later, I choose some caches that they had "found" and the names weren't those logs either. On the way home I stopped at few I had already found and the same thing, their names weren't there. Thanks for your help...I got the logs deleted!

Does anyone know how to delete a log of someone who logged your cache as found but the name is not on the physical log?

I have a cat named Jinx and he was born the same year as my grandson. I am Grammy to my Grandson and his other grandmother is also called Grammy. When my son was taking my grandson to his other Grammy, my grandson started crying and said, "No! I want my Grammy....?" "I want my Grammy....???" He looked around then said, "I WANT JINXY'S GRAMMY!!!" He knew my cat's name but didn't know mine! Both grandson and cat are 13 years old and I am still GrammyJinx! I decided to use that as my geocaching name but added an extra "X". The extra X is there for no particular reason...attitude I guess!

I love marbles! I have a jar that is almost full just from a year and a half of geocaching. I try to find unique items to leave in return ...my favorite is kids socks (new ones!) with cartoon characters on them.

I received a Magellan Explorist GC...still exploring how to use it!
