i'm looking for springfield to be renamed bass pro city/ville. between john morris & john q. i'm surprised that a city name changed hasn't happened.

That's well and good, but you might not find yourself being voted "most popular" at the next event. There are more tactful ways of achieving the same result. us hillbillys kinda say whatever pops in our heads without any kind of censor before it comes out our mouths. so she should fit in at the next event around here. now outside of this area, that's another story... pandybat, glad you heard from jeremy808. i never did after 2 emails.

to pandybat: no, i don't think you were too harsh. jeremy808 knows about the cache & has done nothing to fix it. it's been a trash cache for over a year. most people just email him, while you took the time to make your opinion known. as for geotrashing that's funny!!!

very interesting read. thanks for sharing. do you remember times beach, mo? if i recall correctly there use to be a cache there. quite similar except the gov't tore down the houses that were there & blocked the exits off I-44 to get there.

i would ask you to consider me because tomorrow is my birthday(41), i opened my own business & have no extra money for anything! but as i read the replies there are other people who deserve it more. good luck deciding!

a story on the midwest intitational geocaching competition that was held last weekend would be great. i was forced to miss it but what i've been told it was an outstanding success. it was put on by mo*geo(adminglenn). they did a lot of hard work that needs to be reconized.

i believe it was around memphis. i think i read about it in the south & southwest forums. try there.

they are like the tins only laminated mdf(multi density fiber). i wish i had a digital camera!

have you seen the new aol mailer? got one yesterday. it looks like laminated mdf. you can peel the stuff about aol off & it looks like a kitchen counter top, a little sticky tho. could make a good micro in the right place, it's not weather proof unfortunately. if i can collect enough might be good for a multi! if i had a digital camera i'd post a pic-maybe someone else out there will?

I figured it might be one reason that toasting their subs is so important to them... trying to disquise putrid rodent meat flavor, perhaps? he claims to have a paying member tell him where the member only caches are. according to his website he has stopped for now.

we had one in the mark twain forest that got archived before i got to see it & from what i understand it was very popular & very well done.

thundermonk or ozark4 will store them for me, cool... p.s. who cares how many posts someone has? does that make them inferior to everyone else?

as someone from the area he is targeting, we're dealing with him-in our own way. yes, ignoring him is part of it. so is talking to parks people so they are aware & won't revoke geocaching in the area. thanks to adminglenn for bringing this to our attention before it happened.
