  1. what are you looking to get for it? How do you like the Delorme so far? I always thought their screen was a bit too small myself.
  2. Been there, Done that. Take out the SD card and Voila! Tried all that, no luck. Guess I have a brick now.
  3. I have a NIB Magellan Explorist XL for sale. I bought two of these on ebay last year, and never used this one. I have the USB cable, and a belt case to go with it also. Ican include Mapsend Direct Route software, if you like. I have used an XL for geocaching, and as an in-car gps with the mapping software.
  4. I have a brand new in box Explorist XL I would like to sell, if you might be interested. I bought two on ebay last year, and have never used this one. Still has the plastic screen protector on it. Let me know if you are interested. Also, I have heard that you can recover from some problems with the explorist. There is an explorist forum on yahoo.com.
  5. I went to Wal-mart's website, and all they had was the Triton 2000, no 1500, with or without "wilderness pack."
  6. Try the Yahoo eXplorist group. Very helpful. Will do. Thanks
  7. I was initially disappointed in my Triton 1500. But after the recent firmware upgrade I did, I'm happy with it. The accuracy is superb, and the unit kept a satellite lock in my glove box. I would definitely recommend one.
  8. hello, Does anyone know if there is a way to "reset" an explorist, like some magic key combination? Mine powers on, then gets stuck at the blue screen that says "explorist XL". I can't even turn it off, I have to pull out a battery to get it to go off. Anyone else have this problem? Know a solution? Thanks, Joe
  9. I think $200 is reasonable, am open to negotiations, am also willing to trade for a digital camera.
  10. I have a Magellan Meridian Gold that I no longer use, and is gathering dust. I have used it successfully for geocaching, I just bought one with a color screen. It is a good unit, very reliable. It's WAAS enabled, to get approx 3 meter accuracy. It is yours for $25.00 Joe redleg7@comcast.net (410)336-3464
  11. I have for sale a brand new, in the box, Magellan Explorist XL.It has the really large sunlight -readable color display for those of us who have eyes that are not what they once were . It is WAAS enabled, has storage for 20 routes, and lots of waypoints. Also, there is unlimited additional storage via SD memory card. Comes with computer cable, and software for geocaching. For the right price, I will include a case for the unit. I use one of these for geocaching, and I am completely satisfied. The unit is also compatible with Magellan mapping software. (Not Included) Make a reasonable offer email redleg7@comcast.net, or call (410) 336-3464
