Disabling is not needed. If the color of the icon on the map changes after the event time is passed that's all we need.

attendees who haven't logged yet, didn't save a draft log, and might have trouble locating the cache page for a temporarily disabled event.
Due to the situation shown in the sample map, they also may have difficulty attending in the correct event.
Every map I am using shows disabled caches by default. Is there some app that can cause difficulties to find a disabled event?

Silicone is better for those things.
I've heard that silicone is not water vapor tight, so the contents may get wet. Some silicone-sealed cache jars are known to always be moist inside.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) could be another candidate. https://www.thehopegroup.com/blog/advice/o-ring-material-guide/I have excellent results using plumber's tape (teflon) wrapped around the threads of the bison tube. Only problem is that it tears off gradually.

when creating the solution the ( key word ) can't have spaces
This may be changed because I have a checker with spaces on the keyword. Anyway, the result is the same both ways.
Don't forget that you can use wildcards in the keyword. Sometimes it may solve format problems.

Yes, the correct answer can contain a space. But, the answer without a space is also correct.

My wife and I like to hunt for caches but are not interested in signing the logs.
In this case, I suggest hunting down Adventure Lab Caches. They are designed for users who are not interested in signing logbooks, but visiting interesting places.

Is that a mandatory rule somehwere for geocaches?
In geocaching, logic and guidelines not always match. I have made one LBH cache just because adding a stamp was the only way to accomplish the cache idea I was planned couple of years. The underlying cache type was not allowed with this setup, but it was allowed when masquered to LBH.

LBH is not a bonus cache. However, 'just cos' isn't a reason, more a baseless assertion.
I see a logic reason. If you are playing only Letterbox game you can not find these caches required to find the Letterbox hybrid bonus. (Unless all required caches are Letterboxes)

4. Wait until HQ archives the cache automatically after several months of inactivity.

Problem:
It is not possible to change coordinate

What do you mean? For me, this work-around solved the problem you stated. I hope that the underlying root problem will be solved too.

I managed to correct coordinates by refreshing the page (F5) and quickly hit the pen-icon that appeared next to coordinates just before it disappeared again.

the LBH caches I've found have used accurate GPS coordinates to identify the starting location
In this case the underlying cache type is multi-cache. Without a stamp the cache could be published as a multi-cache.
3 hours ago, The_Jumping_Pig said:Using an intersection wasn't enough GPS usage, so I had to use a projection as one of my steps.
As with multi-cache you must have something to find at the posted coordinates. The underlying cache type is mystery when you have to calculate projection from a bogus waypoint.

Usually the description gives an alternative way to solve the final coordinates as an addition to the Letterbox style clue in the description. Finder must decide whether to follow the clue or solve a mystery. The mystery part may be totally separate part of the description or embedded in the clue. In some cases the mystery is so well hidden that the only practical way is to follow the clue only.

I don't know why it is unavailable, the location Is near the old cathedral of St Peter and Paul (old ruins), are certain locations blocked off from hiding geocaches?
The blocking cache is https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCZKJM
The map displays red circles at every waypoint of this cache. Stage 4 Newtowntrim Cathedral is the culprit.
The owner of this cache has made a mistake by entering physical waypoints for virtual stages. You should consult your local reviewer about this matter because it has to be fixed before you can get your cache published.

Out of 200+ LBH Finds, I can only remember one that wasn't at the posted coordinates.
I agree that a puzzle LBH should clearly spell that out at the top of the description.
Here the normal is a real Letterbox (with clues) and if the cache is at the posted coordinates it is told clearly in the description.
-
I will be pissed off if the starting point of a multi-cache is bogus. That happens sometimes, but not very often.
I have made a letterbox with bogus coordinates. Many times I see finders trying to start from the bogus because they skip the first part of the decsription that gives the starting point.
28 minutes ago, schafili said:I usually expect I can just start at the listed coordinates.
Here is your problem. Traditional Letterboxes do not have coordinates at all. Neither final or bogus. You can not expect anything about the posted coordinates unless the description gives you a hint what to do with them, if any. You start considering the cache as a mystery until you may find it to be a traditional or a multi-cache.

So a CO could decide not to accept made up names to save space.
Right, a CO really can decide but HQ will reinstate logs if the CO deletes team finds for this reason.

You can use Project-GC virtual GPS to insert a list of caches to a bookmark list.

I never understood why the database-tag for a foundlog just seems to contain only date and time, instead of containing date, time, D/T, Size and cachetype...
You forgot the cache name, but these are only hints, not collectible items. Some players record these details in the found it log if they really need this information.

what does it do ?
I think it is a feature that will be streamlined in the future because of the small number of users. It tries to do the same as upvote counter here without statistics.
Presumably, if some statistics ever appear, users may start to beg great stories in every log as content creators on YouTube do.

It is less because a circle is smaller than a rectangle with the same height and width.

Ok, if you need to guess 4 digits to open a combination lock, you need only 24 tries at maximum. Right?

After reading this post I became curious about this souvenir so I played 5 adventures and then logged one found and got the souvenir. If you log finds first and then play adventures it may not trigger the souvenir, I guess.
-
I found some users but they generally have zero finds. Ashby got one virtual from Colorado.

In Finland (on the 60th Parallel) there are almost 13 million coordinates in 2 mail radius. It is too many for guessing anything. Usually you switch to brute force tactics when solving has succeeded only partially or somehow limited to very small area or small number of possible places. For example, if you have only 100 possible solutions, you may try to brute force all of these.
Last time I used brute force with Certitude, I had 73 different solutions and tried all of them. Second to last possible solution I tried was the correct one. Bad luck

Ask from the players who signed the log. I have found a cache with a GC-code and some fresh signatures but it was never published.

I use a smartphone when hiding caches, but the phone is connected to the Garmin GLO receiver.
It could be better to ask the estimated percentage of players who use only a smartphone GPS receiver. That number is constantly rising.
