Thanks for the update!

It should be noted that it tells me the password is incorrect. I have checked many times and it is not incorrect. This happened when I changed my password on geocaching.com

Hi, In July I changed my password on geocaching.com. Since then I gave not been able to log into Delorme's Topo 9.0 or Cache Register to pick up my PQs. I am able to log into the iPhone app and through the website. There are others with this problem, which has been discussed in the Delorme forums. I have installed Cache Register on a "clean machine" but it still will not let me log on. traingreg

We already have the PQ(s) downloaded before activating Cache Register. It automatically picks up that (those) downloads when it finishes sync with the GPSr. Just hit the yellow SYNC bar and the installation begins. Done in seconds. No real need to have geocaching.com open at all, not even for the field notes upload. Field notes will be present next time you log in. ... is why I say that logging in is unnecessary. The first time you ran Cache register, it asked you for your username and password. After that, it logged into geocaching.com automatically every time you ran it. It needs to do that in order to upload field notes to the right account. When you receive a message asking if you want to log into geocaching.com, it is referring to actually opening a browser in order to create new pocket queries or edit field notes, which, as you say, is not necessary. @MillfordGeoM Are you logging into Geocaching.com web site through the facebook link or from the regular login? I don't think the facebook login will work with Cache Register. If that is not your problem, you might want to try posting on the Delorme forums, might find someone with a similar problem and possible solution there. The Delorme forums seem to point to a Groundspeak issue There seem to be a few of us experiencing this problem, mostly the past 2 months or so it seems. It appears to happen when the password is changed. I am not using the facebook link Any other thoughts are welcomed

The nice feature about being able to log in through Topo or cache register is that it will download and load quickly. When the login worked I could hook up my GPS and have my pocket queries loaded on within 45 seconds. A few extra steps are needed when going through the website.

Do you both have the same type phone? Is your Daughter's GPS turned on?

I use VantagePoint (Magellan software). It allows you to download PQs directly from geocaching.com. If you like you can massage data in GSAK and then bring it into VantagePoint and put it on the gadget

I think that the green line will only show up when you are moving - stop and the green line disappears. In an ideal, obstacle free, world your green arrow will match the black arrowhead pointing to the cache as you are moving. As a follow up - Is there any way to get distance to the cache on that navigation screen? Greg

Hi, Great question. Just purchased the same one. I haven't tried it out yet but I did notice the firmware isn't current. I was wondering if you have upgraded yet - saw a few things on various forums that the firmware update is fairly critical Greg

I just got this unit and have been able to transfer cache information no problem. My question is - Is there anyway to get log notes transferred to this unit or can I just getting the description and the hint (in terms of text information, that is)? Thanks
