Hello, .... if You really want a feature, that noone else has, then add a REAL offline Map Support. Make your App able to use a preloadet Map File. Hallo, Das ist ebenfalls falsch, eben aus genanntem Grund. Nur weil ICH die Dose nicht gefunden habe, heisst das noch lange nicht, daß sie nicht da ist. Da diese Erfahrung mit Sicherheit jeder schon mal gemacht hat, verbietet sich dieses Verhalten eigentlich von selbst. finde ich nun nicht ganz so wild. Es gibt nun mal Stellen wo man zu 98,7% Sicher sein kann, dass "DA" wo nun nix mehr liegt mal ne Dose war. z.b Der einzige Baum an einem Feldweg wo ein Dicker Stein dran liegt und unter den Stein sieht man noch die Aussparung für die Filmdose oder Wo das Spoilerbild eine Dose zeigt ist nun ein Loch. Kurzer Blick in das Profil hätte sofort geklärt warum nach der "Kontrollinstanz für Reviewer" gefragt wird. Da will einer nen Cache adoptieren.. Reviewer "A" holt den Cache aus der Versenkung, so das ein neuer Owner das Teil übernehmen kann. Wenig Später kommt Reviewer "B" und steckt das Ding ins Archiv. (weil ja so lange nix passiert und jede menge DNF, die DNF sind aber Uralt und vor der ersten Archivierung und vor der Absicht das Teil zu Adoptieren) Irgendwie "Seltsam" Da haben wohl paar Leute nicht miteinander oder aneinander Vorbei geredet.

Hallo, Wenn er das wenigstens geschrieben hätte. Ich habe nur Sachen gefunden wie oder oder Wenn man schon "extra kurz logs" macht, sollte man doch wenigstens das Wort "Cache" richtig schreiben. Sorry...auch wenn es hier ggf was "heftig" und nach "Besserwisser" klingt. Genau sowas wird der Owner, der das gelöscht hat auch gedacht haben. ..... Ne "Filmdose" an der Leitplanke mit "Danke für den Cache." zu belohnen mag ja ok sein. Machen viele so. Was soll / will man da auch mehr schreiben. Aber bei einem Multi, sollte doch wenigstens was mehr als 2 Wörter bei raus kommen. Oft fällt einem nix ein oder hat keine Zeit. Aber mal im ernst. Die Leute machen sich Mühe um was zu verstecken und werden 2 Wörtern oder 4 Buchstaben belohnt. ... Noch mal zum Thema... frag einfach mal "nett" nach warum der Log gelöscht worden ist. Gruss, OZRIC

Reden wir von selben Posting? Wo war den die Rede von einem "Kopierladen"? Eine Werbeagentur, die z.B. Fahnen für die MC Donalds Events bedruckt wird schon wissen wie so was geht. Ich weiß nicht in welcher Branche du Arbeitest. Ich weis aber in welcher ich Arbeite. Glaub mir einfach... Eine vor Ort in Einzelfertigung angefertigte Flagge / Wimpel / Digitaldruck wird in 98 von 100 Fällen viel hochwertiger sein, als wenn so was in "Massenfertigung" hergestellt wird. Achtung Sarkasmus: Aber was soll´s Eine wahrscheinlich in China im 500´er Pack angefertigte Flagge unterstützt ja unser heimisches Geocaching.

Hallo, Ich habe schon Wimpel / Flaggen / xyz machen lassen. Die waren alle recht günstig. Bin mir zu 99% Sicher, dass man so günstiger weg kommt. So ein kleiner Geocaching Shop kauft ja auch keine 100 Stück. Dann will er noch was dran verdienen. Dann noch Porto. Zum Thema Copyright. Groundspeak bietet die Dateien ja sogar zum DL an. Bei Gewerblichen Gebrauch soll man sich per Mail anfragen. http://www.geocaching.com/about/logousage.aspx Wobei... die Flagge will er ja nicht verkaufen... Das ist ja noch nicht mal Gewerblicher Gebrauch im eigentlichen Sinne. Kurze Mail... Fragen.. Fertig. Gruss...

Hilfe zur Selbsthilfe ist immer besser als "fertige Lösungen". Somit ist der Tip mit google doch ein guter.... Ich.. wenn ich so ne Fahne haben wollte... würde mir die Datei im Netz suchen. Google !!! Datei auf einen Stick schieben.... Zum nächsten Webefutzi fahren... Der kann dir das dann auf Fahnenstoff drucken.. umnähen.. Ösen drann... was immer du willst. Und meist ist das noch viel günstiger als fertige Lösungen aus Shops. (Die da auch kaufen und noch was dran verdienen wollen) Und... das Teil hat genau die Farbe / Abmessung wie Du es haben willst. Hello, Could you please add offline Maps Funktion to the iPhone App? Yes... I know... I can load a PocketQuery and then save the Map Tiles for this PocketQuery. But if I load new PQ after few days, I need to do that again!!! and again.... and again... But not all have FAST Internet. Not all want to make not needet Trafic! We all make trafic on the OSM Server... a Free server... unneedet Trafic... thats Really Rude!!! There are *.img Map files from all part of the World. OSM Map Files... Why not load such a file ONCE, save it on Phone/Pad and just linkt to that file? Other "free" geocaching apps are able to do that. This should be able to do the same. ................... Or just add the ability to sent coordinates to other App. There are a lot apps the use a preloadet Map File. If we were able so sent coordinates / open the other App from the geoocaching app.. that would help too. thx for reading! Ozric

Hallo, das iPhone hat ja schon mal keine Hauseigene Navigation. Da ist das Android mit google Maps Navigation schon sehr im Vorteil. Somit muss man als erstes eine Navigationssoftware auf sein iPhone bringen. Da gibt es viele. Viel Spass beim Suchen einer für Dich passenden. Wenn man nun z.b. Geosphere verwendet dann geht das. Geosphere ist zuerst was "komplex". Aber wenn man sich mal 1 Tag damit auseinader setzt ist das klasse. Geosphere kann "Daten" an installierte Navigationssysteme senden. Dann geht das genau so wie beim Android. Gruss....

Hallo, Auch wenn ein wenig OT wird... Die App von GS kann sehr wohl andere Karten als nur die google Maps. Beim einlesen der PQ kann man sogar die Karten (OSM) abspeichern für spätere Offlinenutzung. Was man (leider) nicht kann ist eine komplette Deutschlandkarte 1 x runterladen und dann irgendwie verlinken. (das man nie wieder Kartendaten laden muss) Gruss und danke fürs lesen....

Hello, ok.... then lets place caches everwhere. ??? ;( Why you always take T5 caches to compare with playground caches? If a stupid without common sense hurts him self doing a T5 cache.. that only hurts him. If someone without common sense does a cache on playground while kids are playing... he does not hurt him self. He makes other people feel uncomfortable. That is reallly a big diffrens, or not?

But does the Cache have to be on the Playground. A Cache on the parkingplace near the Playground or 100m away from the playground will be enough to show others these great Playground and all are happy. Parents and Cachers. Just add a waypoint in the Listing. So why be so stubborn and place it "on" it and not only "near" it. Noone ever complains not beeing allowed to place a Cache near a school. In my eyes School and Playground is nearly the same. thx for reading

Hello, Playgrounds are made for Childrem to have Fun! That you cant see any Muggel, does not mean no Muggel sees you. Local resident have open eys and ears. And if only ONE MOTHER forbids her children to play on that playground since she heard a rumor about "strange old people" which run around the playground early mornings / late evenings /if noone else is there. There you go. There is a reason NOT to place a cache on Playground. Playground is made for Kids to have fun. Playground is not made for undiscerning geocachers to have fun. Cacher have enough other places to "play" Childrem not. thx for reading

Hello, You are right. But... I gues not all have this common sense. Otherwise I cant understand why someone can be so bone-headed an place a Cache on a smal playground. Delete all nice and friedly writtes notes in his cache that bid him to archieve or move the cache. No... this person act like:" It not forbidden to place cache here so stfu." Do we really have to make Geocaching disliked be the public? That will only have the result that there will be new laws. We really want that? Better some "low level" rules from Groundspeak then HARD LAWS from government. Here in Germany we have the first result of no common sense .... Geocaching in Caves, Bunker, Tunnel etc. is forbidden by Law. (in parts of Germany) Thats because "some" did not take care of bats and other pets while periods of rest. How ever. thx for reading

Hallo, Die stellen sich aber nur deshalb an, weil das Tool auf eine "unerlaubte" art auf Daten zugreift. Dies Art erzeugt JEDE MENGE unnötigen Traffic. Diese Art ist verantwortlich, das Seiten langsam / gar nicht zu erreichen sind. Wen C:geo, was ich persönlich auch sehr gut finde, wie von Groundspeak vorgesehen über die EXTRA DAFÜR gemacht API auf die Daten zugreifen würde, wäre ja alles in Ordnung. Gruss....

Hello, You are right. I am from Germany. With playground I do not mean those BIG Parks where you go for a walk or jogging or ... Here in Germany we have Playgrounds only for (smal) childrem. Parents sit on a bench and watch their childrem play in the sandpit or swing or riding on a rocker. There is no reason for old childrem or adults (without childrem with them) to enter this kind of playground. thx for readind....

Hello, I mean a "playground for children" You are not allowed to enter if you are older then 14 Year. (except you look after your children) There has a cache been placed ON a playground. I think that will really make parents affraid to see "strange" looking and searching people on a Playground for Children. They enter playground ... rummage in corners .. leave playground. If I was there with my 2 little children I would call the police. I guess local resident might call the police too if strangers enter playground late night. thx for reading

Hello, the Guidelines say : 1.1. Fundamental Placement Guidelines 6. Geocaches are not placed on school property or military bases. Many primary, middle and secondary schools, as ..... I think this is not enough. They really should add Kindergarden and they should add playground. What do You think? I guess this has been talked about several times.
