  1. A big well done to the Klever Boys "Russ and Sue" who reached 200 caches on Pharisee's cache "Hare Today, Gone Tomorrow". A couple of days ago. What a great evil cache to hit your MileStone on guys. Nelson sends his love, he is all packed. He is just waiting for us now. See ya...Gary and Margaret Here is picture of Nelson, he made us do this
  2. I bet it doesn't float... See ya...Gary
  3. How about a feature that allows you to print or export a list of the travel bugs your currently have in your inventory with their current missions. This would help people plan what to do with the bugs there currently have. Well something to think about anyway, what do others think? I think it would be very handy.. See ya…Gary
  4. Congrats guys, great stuff indeed... See ya...Gary and Margaret
  5. Well thats not the case around here, the only new ones near Milton Keynes have been placed by me. So I can't claim a find Come on MK Cachers.... See ya...Gary

  8. Further to my last email, Sorry Ali it looks like it only works with vista Cx, But give it a go anyway. Here is another great site about this software http://www.gpsinformation.org/penrod/poilo.../poiloader.html See ya...Gary
  9. Hi all Singapore Cachers, We are heading your way soon (as you may know if you read this thread ), and were wondering if anyone can help us get the price for a Garmin GPS Model 60CSx. Just wondering if it would be cheaper buying it in Singapore or in New Zealand. There are $1137 Singapore dollars in New Zealand, is that cheaper than in Singapore. If it’s cheaper what is the best location to pick up one at that price? See ya…Gary and Margaret
  10. Hi, Been thinking about this because I was going to buy a GPS 60csx on our way home, well hopefully anyway. Ali, have a look at this freebie from the Garmin site. It allows you to load GPX files as points of interest, it only works on GPS with a memory card. So I couldn't try it out... But keen to see if it works ok. You can load GPX files onto the memory card and these show up as POI's. Here is the site http://www.garmin.com/products/poiloader/ Report back your finders please...Looks like another reason to buy a GPS with a memory card to me. See ya...Gary
  11. No it doesn't have to be inside, but somewhere that could be found with GPS. I usually have the co-ordinates for the parking or near the front door. See ya...Gary
  12. Greetings! i am currently looking at perhaps 2nd Dec a Sat for a dinner now... As for geocaching events.. i am not exactly sure if can add an event in and ask everybody to attend... anybody has any experience? or we find a place with cache and meet at that location? using that cache as a drop off point or something.. need more suggestions and advise The best method is find a nice venue that either serves drinks or food, and then set up an event page on Geocaching.com with the co-ordinates on the venue. Change the placed date to the date of the event, and its also a good idea to tell the venue the estimated number of people that will attend. As in Waynes World, if you book it people will come along I don't mind setting up the cache page if you like, but I would need some local knowledge for the location etc. See ya...Gary
