  1. I've found some of your caches, so took a quick look at some of the older still active caches you have but didn't see any notes that say they were up for grabs. Do you have a list? I could post these on Cotswold Caching and CacheWalker forums. Happy caching walk tall
  2. Sorry for the late judging but I was away enjoying Scotland and got back with lots of things that had to be done. Some strong entries but there can only be one winner and the winner, after careful consideration is............ Wild-Skye - well done
  3. Right the theme for this months competition is spectacular views in the UK. Here's an example: rules are: 1) The photo must be cache related and to do with a specific cache in the UK - please include a link to the cache or the GC code so we can see where the picture relates to. 2) Maximum of two photos per caching team or cacher 3) The winner each month is decided by the winner from the previous month - the new winner starting the thread for the subsequent month. They may set a theme if they wish. 4) The photo should be within the last year, i.e. from June 2013 onwards. That's it - now it's over to you. PS With the Mega in Scotland, I will not be able to judge it straight away at the start of August.
  4. So, for my second qualifying picture, I'll go for this as you don't often get the chance to bell ring at an Event This was at the Event: Ascension
  5. And this, I just seem to be picking even older Events! CacheWalker Bash - Spring 2010
  6. Now this was in 2011 10 Years of Glorious Gloucestershire, so years out !!
  7. This was last years CacheWalker Splash Mob Event, so I suppose doesn't count
  8. This was an Event this year: CacheWalker goes to the Beach Splash Mob Event - GC558MJ
  9. Nah, not mine. WT's, perhaps, or maybe Gordon set it. Tastier than the water at the pump room, in any case. Yes that Challenge was mine, tasty tasty
  10. Ops - doh! How strict are the rules; just read the them! Looks like out of all the pictures posted, only two comply! I think I need to edit.
  11. A FTF race with new caches placed for an Event walk, a typical CacheWalker Event
  12. The event celebrating 10 Years of Glorious Gloucestershire cache, had some lovely weather and great views but there is always someone who goes over the top
  13. At last years Splash Mob, one cacher thought it would be good to make a real splash I love the muggles in the background looking on, wondering
  14. Here's the Splash Mob Event from this year in Bourton-on-the-Water, that has now become a regular yearly event This year we had a Tropical Beach theme
  15. Please can we not have "Recently Viewed Caches" splattered at the top of the page. I now find the first thing I have to do, is scroll past the "Recently Viewed Caches" bit - WHAT A PAIN
  16. I was also wondering what had happened to this Time to Shine challenge, as it was on the official Worldwide list but has now gone! I did managed to complete it and wrote a bit about the site of the sun dial but now, no one can read what I put
  17. I really enjoyed the stats it generated, especially the maps, trying to slowly move the colours on in each county, no light blue One feature that I haven't seen on other sites was the ability to check caches against another cacher. This was really useful, as now and again, I go caching with another cacher and to make sure neither of us had found caches in an area, I could check using this feature All the best Dave
  18. Yes I get this message as well writing a log to a cartridge, it happened today; it seems to have been happening for a while as I've seen it before trying to write a log. Are they ever going to fix it? The odd thing is, you get the message and think your log has failed but come back to Wherigo and the cartridge you were trying to make a log on and there's your log
  19. I think some people are too touchy but if it needs to be changed then: "Needs a Review" or "Its Broken" both flagging a reviewer and cache owner.
  20. After a bit of confusion and offering, this is what I got back from Ken at ITV West: "Hi David and thanks for getting in touch…I was hoping to show a family going out caching if possible…good to see the kids having a go too and makes good TV. Let me know if there are any likely candidates! Cheers Ken" Looks like I don't fit for what he is after - any one else (with family) up for it?
  21. I'm around on the 2 Sept - email sent to you via your geocaching profile

    Find Query

reqular query or My finds query? Jim I've just run My Finds query and the zip file was dated today 14 April 2009 but the GPX files inside were dated 1 April 2009. The main GPX file had only 496 finds in it, whereas my total is 2235. What's going on, a glitch in the system? UPDATE: There must be a ghost/glitch in my system, as I went back to the problem to look at the file in more detail, only to find the My Finds query is now OK, the GPX file seems to be correct with 2235 finds in it but I've still got a copy of the zip file on my system that I detached from the email with todays date on it, time stamp 11:08. I haven't run a query today except for My Finds!! Spooky walk tall
