If I had MM all would be dandy. But I haven't.

It's a CSV of waypoints. Was hoping GPSBabel would help, but the computer says noooo.

I've got a MM file and would like to get it into Mapsource and/or my Etrex. How do I do that then
-
I use SunriseXP and Vade Mecum. The first grabs web pages/sites the second views the files.

Thanx for all your comments.

Following LeTour for a week and then staying in Paris for Bastille Day. Just in-case I fancied doing a cache Any suggestions ?

The front page seek menu seems to have the same options as the Advanced page but WITHOUT the option to "Exclude hidden/found items" This is the most useful option. How about we have it on the standard page Or am I missing something...

'Sunrise Desktop' started playing up a couple of weeks ago. I was using it with a Form login fine for over a year. Tried 'Sunrise XP' awhile ago but it kept killing the cookies. Got Isilo and Xsilo to work fine but I prefer the formatting in Vade Mecum. Have solved SunriseXP cookie problem now. Thread closed.

Palm users will know what I'm talking about. I use the Plucker format BUT I use a PocketPC. I use two packages, Sunrise to convert the pages to Plucker format. Then I use Vade Vecum to view the files on my IpaQ Since coming back off hols it's all gone doolally. It just hangs, so far I think it something to do with those new buttons and/or Java. I'm off to France in 3 weeks, times ticking.

Our Heidi is protected, but be sure to read the smallprint. For a 8 week dose your pet is only protected against ticks for 4 weeks.

Just back from West Wales. Ticks active, got about 10 on the dog. Removal tool was £3.50. Maybe we could get Bill Oddie to do a Feature on SpringWatch. Or preferably Kate Humble, hubba hubba

My maps have WGS84 on them -
What would take precedence, a Trust that does not have an Agreement or a Park Ranger who would be happy to site a cache ?

I hear lots of talk about TB's going missing about 30% by all accounts. And you get a 2nd tags in-case this happens. But surely the most important bit is the fact that you've bought a number that's trackable on the web. So the question... Why not make replica TB tags to replace lost ones ? Alternatively, attach the number to another item. Or does everyone do this already and I'm dumb

Having just had a stamp made, I love micros. Plonk, job done. It also avoids those "writers blank" moments of "What can I right ?"

Will be riding down through France in a couple of weeks. Was going to stop at Limoge on the way, but the caches are a bit scarce. Next decent sized town north was Poitiers. A few close by caches and one called Futuroscope Always fancied visiting here, but is it worth it ? And if so, how long to do it justice ?
-
It does what it says on the tin. Dunno if it works, great for micros if it does.... Follow Me !

What's the longest distance cache?
The HERB5 replied to SidAndBob's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Exactly what we do. We figure if a cache was put there, probably worth visiting. On Saturday we found a new dogwalk route only 2 miles from home. We took the dog for a walk there Sunday; without the GPS, and got lost. Now if I had the GPS. -
Everybody plays the game differently

What if we walked in single-file

Hmmph, followed this link and it says that as of Feb '07 it's defunct. Doesn't stop anybody doing it I suppose. There's a race in July 7th but I'm doing; well following, Le Tour so wont be doing that. Doesn't stop and Event based round the route though if there are enough caches.

Possibly a mid-life crisis but wouldn't mind giving this a go ? Who'd be up for a weekend Caching Event taking in the Lyke Wake Walk for the hardcore followed by some caches. Or just lotsa caching
