  1. If anyone is caching in Kirkland today, don't forget that it's Ben & Jerry's customer appreciation day. They're giving out free scoops of ice cream from 12-8. The closest cache is LBs What's the Scoop? GCN1DX.
  2. No, Pepper, I will not BOX you. Wanna toe wrastle? But I will challenge you and Robin to a re-match. Patudles and I are up for it . (I hope everyone knows that this is a running joke and not to be taken seriously as a Garmin vs Maggie thing Any time, any place! You Maggie girls are going to say that I'm making up the rules so you make up the rules, you name the place and the judge. We'll be there. WE have nothing to cover up
  3. Hey ~Tudles! I would second the suggestion for Moun10Bike Maze as well. Pepper & I have found it but we both had, er, incidents Maybe another trip back through it and we could find where we went wrong. It's definitley milestone worthy and must be really pretty this time of year with everything budding out.
  4. I should add that since we are skipping the ride, we have two mountain bikes to loan out. Write us if you are interested.
  5. We say May 14 just because it's sooner than June We like the picnic at Rattlesnake idea. In fact, we're thinking to skip the ride and have a grill set up with burgers and hot dogs for everyone. (And Robin thought she was getting stuck with tuna salad)
  6. OK, I'll take a stab at this!!!! As of today grandpa fish Eraseek has found 866 caches in 1495 days so he finds 0.579 caches per day. LIttle fish LittleBlue has found 731 caches in 170 days for a rate of 4.300 caches per day. That means that LB finds 3.721 more caches per day than ES and will eat up the 135 cache diference in 36.28 days or May 7th. Paul2tele has already taken this date. Now wait, did Paul figure in the Wenatchee cache machine? If you factor in the fact that LB will probably find 50+ caches in one day and thus increase her cache per day rate, I am coming up with a second date of April 23rd. Oh no, PDXman has taken that date. Now wait, again did PDXman factor in the post cache machine doldrums? It takes us a couple of days to log all those caches, so my analysis leads me to......... ....April 25th, 2005!!!!
  7. The Leakin' Lena will be sorely missed She served the Wienerdogs well. In her honor we will offer up the Jolly Rancher for others to use. The only stipulation is that you dress like pirates and be silly. Good idea Puppers!
  8. LittleBlue, The Jester and his wife did it last year on touring Bikes but had a couple of flats along the way. I believe that he was riding on 1.25" tires. If you have 1.5" tires or bigger and keep them at the high end of the pressure range you should have no problem. The trail is actually pretty smooth and not at all technical.
  9. And she did it all with a Maggie! Just kidding, you know I love ya, girl. Congrats
  10. And Ms. Pepper hit 2500 on the same cache with M10 Also, I do believe the Puppers may have logged 2000 today.
  11. We would like 10. Then would complete the west coast for state coins.
  12. Sounds like fun. We're not familiar with any of those spots so have no preference.
  13. Just sent some answers..........Good Luck!!!
  14. How about a little more color????????????? And the hiker STILL needs a ponytail.
  15. If the image contains a hiker, I suggest that the hiker be female this year. After all both are involved in fairly equal numbers in our state. Rickie.
  16. We left a coin up on Whidbey Island on Saturday at The Path of the Watchers
  17. Adding two gals for the hike, Lucy and Pepper. Do we have a starting time yet?
  18. I see that Stump has joined the ranks of "The Four Digit Cachers". He now has over 1000 finds as of yesterday. Woohoo!!!!
  19. The cache page for the party is officially here.. Mr. FOF's cache is less than .2 miles away.
  20. fiendorfoe is back in town? I think I'm caught up with my kicking of shins. Come out and play, fof! We have missed you. Now if we could only get Dayvi back out. I still owe him a noogie.
  21. Lucy here. I'm a big DNFer. Rickie and I spent a caching weekend in Wenatchee earlier this year. Didn't realize what big losers we were until we started logging. OUCH!!!!! We found a bunch but our total of DNFs was a bit past 30 for two days of cacching. It was really depressing to log all those DNFs but at the half way point, it just became too funny. Really now, how many times and how many ways can you say poor pitiful me? You have to start lauging at yourself and some of the best logs are the DNF ones. The upshot is that because we did log our DNFs, a lot of the cache owners wrote back with lovely notes welcoming us to come visit again and offering help.
  22. Put your party hats on because plans were finalized today for the WSGA Holiday Party. When? Wed. December 29 6-9 p.m. Where? Woodinville Community Center 17401 133rd Ave NE 47.45.229 122.09.737 Who? All are welcome, members and non-members. This is a family event so bundle up the kids and grab the spouse and drag along any friends that may be interested. What? It will be a potluck so plan on bringing a food item to share. We will supply a few drinks (bottled water and soda) but feel free to bring your own. Sorry, no alcohol is allowed. Why? Well, it's fun to get together, that's why! Plus, there will be some pretty nifty raffle prizes. If you donate a blanket or coat (to be given to a local shelter) you will receive a raffle ticket to possibly win a very unique quilt by Pepper. Or you could win a Wa. state geocoin. Pretty cool, huh? The cache page will be submitted in the morning and we'll link it once it is approved. If we're lucky, maybe nolenator will bring his now famous Frito Pies
  23. The only missing one is #0050. If any one has received this coin in error, it would be GREAT to step up. Contact us or pdxmarathonman personally. We have no intention of flaming anyone for selling Wa. coins. We are just glad to give back to a community that we are proud to be a part of.
  24. The only thing that would upset me about this is if one of the coins was # 50, pdxmarathonman's low # that we lost or shipped to someone else. And then I'd just have to get mad at us for making the mistake in the first place.
