  1. Don't be looking for Lucy and Rickie in the little white stallion anymore. We'll be found be in the midnight black CR-V from now on.
  2. The approximate coords for the parking are 47-23.059 and 121-23.350. I got these off the Topo from what I remember where it is so they may be a few hundred feet off.
  3. I am about to put some new TBs out. I seriously hope NBJPoppa finds them. He takes care of bugs. I really don't like the 'find one, take one 'rule. I am going to put a tag on them that says they are meant to be moved not traded. They are not trade items and we seem to have forgotten this.
  4. ...and don't laugh too hard doing FF91 Me thinks Mr. Eraseek had a little too much coffee that morning
  5. Make no mistake, Fen Dweller is NOT an evil person. He just needs a big hug That being said, I will be home in Alabama shortly and think my niece will join me in trying for that ?Did You Hear That? cache. It looks, um, interesting
  6. Hehe! Extreme beauty has that affect on me, I want to drop down and pray or dance. ~Lucy~
  7. I just wanted to say that I understand how much work this can be after having done the same with the WA coin and wanted to chime in with everyone else and say: Thank You!!!!
  8. I ( Lucy) made the decision to make the change. Leave Rickie out of it, he's just an innocent bystander When I saw Analogdogs post about the closing, the first thing I did was to call Pegasus and I spoke with the manager. He told me that I shouldn't be concerned, that the closure was only because they had not paid to be inspected for 2004. Right after that I go online to the helpful link that Analogdog provided and saw some things that said otherwise. I don't like being lied to. The truth (no matter how ugly) is always better. I can forgive a lot of things but that just struck me as wrong. Plus it just made me mad. Yes, perhaps Pegasus is ok but if I'm setting up a meeting, then I would like to know that no one is going to get sick afterwards. ~Lucy
  9. If I can hitch a ride with someone, I can make it. As for what cache, M10B Multi Maze would be a good one but as the owner, M10B may not want that one.
  10. The July meeting has been changed from Pegasus Pizza in Kirkland to Godfathers in Redmond. Monday July 18 6:30-8:30 It seems Pegasus had some problems with the Health Dept. Hope to see everyone there!
  11. We were so sorry to hear about Snickers, TL. That is always a hard decision to have to make. But now I'm mad at myself. I just got back from a walk to the Kingsgate Library (no, they didn't have the book I was looking for) and, had I seen this thread first, I could have walked a little further and found this cache. ~Lucy
  12. Hey LandRover, there are four new L&R caches between Stuffed with Fluff and Barrel of Monkeys for you guys to find. Enjoy.
  13. Hey Marcus, there's one less Utah coin in Silver Peak and one more Canadian coin. We went up and did some coin swapping today. Log to follow, but we are way too tired to write up the epic right now.
  14. We'll be there along with the USS Jolly Rancher and 2 PFDs for who ever wants to use them. Did I hear Frito Pies, Cathy?
  15. Hope that you all have a good time tomorrow. If the weather turns out good we know you will be dancing at the end.
  16. Oops!!!!! One too many zeros. It should be caches per 100 sq mi. I'll go back and fix that.

  19. The official lunch stop for this event is also an event by itself which is officially a going back to Texas party for our dear caching friend Pepper. Come one come all to say goodbye to Pepper. You do not have to be an Iron Horse rider to attend this event (walk ups and drive ups are welcome). Lunch will be grilled burgers, hot dogs, and garden burgers. These will be provided by Lucy and Rickie. We will also have some soda and water available. What you need to bring: A side dish or Frito Pies. A drink of your choice. A folding chair or two. We will be watching over things at the lake all morning if anyone wants to leave their gear there during the ride.
  20. Just to recap some of the details. Meeting Spots: Rattlesnake Lake at 8:00 AM. Parking is free here. Check out the parking coordinates for the Farewell Pepper Cache for the definative place. Car pools will be formed to transport people and bikes to the top. Forest Service Parking Lot near Hyak at 9:00 AM. Use these coordinates to find the spot. Parking at this location is free with a Trail Access Pass. Additionally you can park up the road at the Iron Horse State Park lot for $5.00. There will be plenty of people willing to transport people back here after the ride. Lunch will be served at the conclusion of the ride on the shores of Rattlesnake Lake from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. Additional information about lunch is below. Lucy and Rickie will not be riding the event but will be there at the start and finish. We will be giving out our cell phone number at the beginning in case there is some difficulties on the trail and anyone needs to opt out early. Give us a call and we will come pick you up. Coordinates of the opt out locations will be given out at the beginning of the ride. In case you haven't noticed there is a new multi-cache near the lake that is not on Marcus' official list for the event but is easily done before, during, or after lunch. We'll see you there.
  21. Don't worry Tuddles there's a veggie in the bag for you.
  22. Lunch is served. We'll save the biggest burger for the last one down the mountain.
