  1. So....EraSeek...I'm wondering how your Flatland cache (and my Llama Llookout cache) are faring. Pepper and I saw the smoke as we drove back from Seattle, and I can smell it here at home (near Lake Sammamish). Cin ________________________________________________ Cin and EraSeek, I just got home and went by the fire on 124th. From what I could tell all the caches in the area of 60 Acres are OK. The duct tape cache further south may be in the area of the fire though.
  2. Dern...I guess I hve to hunt for it. K. I can do that.
  3. I KNEW it was a mistake to tell you about those Doubleshot drinks!
  4. Seth!, Not to put any pressure on you, but we've been waiting for Mission Impossible II forEVER!!! Any way that you could leak out a little tiny hint as to when we can expect this? It's great to see you back in the game.
  5. We are 76.3 miles from the start of the cache machine but merely 73.9 miles from Club Babaloo. Waaaa, we don't get the travel bug.
  6. Guess I should clarify that we have reserved a meeting room at Paul's as a get together spot before the big day. We will try to make it an event cache. I have just talked to another cacher who was under the impression we were saying "Party in our room!!!" Nah. We have to sleep sometime. We just thought it would be great to meet everyone before the big day. At Yakima, it was hard to all get together afterwards. Eveyone was bone tired, noisy restaurant, not enough room to mingle and talk to the locals.

  8. Hi All, We made reservations at Pauls Motor Inn. We have meeting room 147 from 5-8 p.m. July 11 (Friday) Thought it would give us a chance to meet and mingle with some of the local cachers! Capacity is for 50 people. We figure people will be coming in and out before heading off to dinner. We were told no alcohol service would be available but we could bring in our own. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

  10. Nettles are my biggest enemy!!!! A few years ago, I was trying to help my Mom clear out a spot to garden in...She suddenly yells out STOP. Guess what? I had been pulling up posion ivy. I was pulling it up by roots and just having a field day. I never had a problem but my Mom, oh, dear, she had a BIG problem!!!!
  11. Aaah, Koska. I see you have internet access in Moses Lake.
  12. Wher is that Koska...and that Dr. Imso Evil? Have they retreated into thier secret hide-outs in Moses Lake?
  13. my cats are my kids and I do realize that doesn't rate... However, I'm thinking that I maybe have to place a cache to drop this bug. This is the most beautiful bug I've ever seen. Only hope that no one steals him
  14. Cin, like I said the other day...some caches we have done are soooo beautiful that I'll be happy to ride/hike along with you and Pepper and let ya'll find them but I'll just be along to see a great place again (and take more pictures). Cherry Cache and Ebbeys Bluff I would welcome an excuse to do again. The one EGH! just did sounds great. But we still have the Pipeline to do. Our summer schedule is getting busy quick!
  15. Thanks EGH! We got 700 at Point Williams Light. (gc846b) Funny you should ask as your name was brought up on the walk there. We got off the main trail following the arrow and stopped and said "Hmmm, this is more EGH turf. Maybe we'll stick to the easy trail!" It's an easy hike in and if you didn't know better, you'd think it was an Eraseek cache. Great view! We think of Eraseek as our caching tour guide (always the most beautiful views) and right now, I'm putting you on that list, too. Who out there hasn't done Cherry Cache? I can tell the GeoGals are gonna be following your lead this summer in which caches to hit.
  16. We had so much fun playing pirates that day! Lucy thinks Donna looks like Monica from Friends with that wig but Rickie says Cher. Any thoughts?
  17. What is the diff. between cache machines and most typical event caches? We were at Yakima and we were at last summers picnic event. You have roughly the same amount of people and cars all converging on the same spot at the same time. Just because one involves a picnic I fail to see the diff. In fact, I think there was more enviromental damage done at the picnic. In Yakima we were behind the main group all day. We expected there to be new paths leading to the caches but NOT ONCE did we find that to be true. At the picnic however, there were quite a few plants stomped on. So why is one okay and one not? If you think cache machines are "killing" this sport, then in all good conscience, you should not attend any event caches. Nor should you cache with the group after the WSGA meeting. And maybe you should always cache alone so your finds can be pure. All of the worries are valid and ones we shared before attending Yakima. They were neatly laid to rest. It would be interesting to find someone with these complaints that have actually attended a cache machine. From all the attendees I've spoken with, not a single one still had any doubts. Yakima was far and away a great experience and I am very much looking forward to Victoria.
  18. I know that most of the Eastsiders did COnfluence last weekend but...there was a post on the page today from Steamer's Wake saying that he lost his GPS while visiting the park today. If anyone goes out to hunt for the cache please keep an eye out for it. Rickie.
  19. Xanax or valium may be more helpful.
  20. We drove by today about 1:00 hoping to pull a Quayside but there were no cachers in sight. We're looking to make a few extra buck selling nudges[]. Oh, cash transactions only.
  21. Mr. Ricardo will not be able to make the meeting on Sat. so we voted for Sun. But Ms. Ricardo can make it either day and will be at whatever meeting the majority chooses.
