  1. I have activated my geocoin and I wrote down an activation code and a "TB" number that goes with it. I can not remember which code or number needs to travel with it. Please help me get this coin out there!! Thank you.
  2. By the way, why would anyone want to keep it? Isn't the purpose of a travel bug to travel?
  3. So much to learn!! Ok. Thank you for your prompt answer!!
  4. When logging in my travel bug, what is meant by "collectible preference"?
  5. What I did was type up the info that was on the back of the monkey including the CB----- number and then glued it to the back of a wood pink flamingo shape. I will add a picture of it to its log in site so others can see that although the number is associated with the Bonobo monkey, it is circulating as a flamingo. Thank you for your help.
  6. Wow, Thanks for the above info. I needed it too!
  7. Because I am still confused on how to navigate this forum, I am posting my question although it may not be new. I have my first travel but that I am anxious to get into circulation. It is the aluminum "Bonobo" monkey. I want to hold on to this monkey so I made a new bug and added a tag that says what the "Bonobo" tag says. Is this okay? I believe I have successfully logged it on. My intent is for who ever finds it, logs it in, then moves it to a new cache. When they do this, do they just use the code number that is found in the attached information? I would appreciate any help with this! Thank you!
  8. I have bought my first travel bug and I think I have logged it on successfully although I have yet to place it in a cache. My question is this: Instead of putting the actual bug in a cache, can I make a bug and just attache the same info on it as is printed on the actual bug? I want to hold on to the "real" bug if I can. Can I do the same with my geocoin?
  9. I am just learning to use this site so I hope I am posting my question in the right place. I just bought my first travel bug on ebay. It is the aluminum Bonobo Monkey that I can register on geocaching.com. I don't want to send out the monkey so I copied the information from the monkey to a new bug that I made. Is this Okay? I think I have successfully logged it on but have yet to put it in circulation until I know I am doing this right.
  10. I bought mine at Bass pro shop. I had a problem with it coming off in the humidity so I wrapped it again with clear tape. I am not satisfied with this though because my cache now has a shine which I would rather not have!
