If you dont want to cache alone you could come the next mega-meet. At one point there were up to 30 people looking for the same caches!!!

Ive just seen a tv advert for a certain Cream Egg.

No witch hunt with the cache I pointed to. It was that in the description it said "No Log Book". I wondered how it was published as I thought all caches needed a logbook now?
-
Dont forget to not include a log book

I was looking at GC1K06N

Theres one that comes to mind that was published on the 20 Dec and the archived on the 1st of Jan. Is this a record It also says in the cache listing I thought a cache had to have a log book?

I discovered this feature of gsak last week when I was tring to organise a caching trip out to do some of the middlewood way series. Theres always something new to find in gsak.

There are already a few caches called Supermarket Sweeps. If you do a search for Supermarket you will find them. Theres also the "off yer trolley" series.

Or youve got a daughter that plays the cornet -
Dont worry about it. A local cache to me has also be flagged as needs be archived. There could be a trainee reviewer in the making But I agree a cache should be looked after and maintained.

When does a thread become charity related. Does it have to be an official charity or can we push 'unofficial' ones. To me there are always lots of auctions for coins that are to go to somebody's aid, illness, down on their luck, medical expenses etc.. Now to me these are charity cases.

Dont all caches have permission any way. You have to tick the box when you submit

What do the various woodland trust use to hang the bird boxes with? No nails glue or ...... -
I don't print off cache pages very often as im mostly paperless. I have just found this page http://www.printwhatyoulike.com/ It lets you select items on the page and only print them off. Useful if doing a cache that has lots of picture clues. You can use it to filter adds out etc. There is a firefox add called Aardvark that does a similar thing. http://karmatics.com/aardvark/

Theres still room for "Footpath fumbles", "Greenway gropes"!!

Instead of closing a thread, the person who was sending the emails should have been banned/stopped.

Dell Axim X51 & Paperless caching
dibbler69 replied to fertred's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
I use a dell axim x30. I just use a blue tooth gps module that stays in my rucksack. I have memorymap on the pda for the maps. I create the cache pages in gsak. May not be the best way but its quick!! -

Sidetracked Series - caches in or near railway stations
dibbler69 replied to Graculus's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
On a lighter note!! I think where my sidetracked cache is they would love the attention of a scare. Its near a heritage railway. The publicity would do them some good
