In response to the orginal post, that's a pretty awful consequence for such a classic newbie error. Yup We can certainly be proud of the fact that our two countries share in the same values/morals, overall quality of life and that we share the world's longest undefended border......kinda nice and rare in this world. But if there ever is an invasion, please leave my beer and hockey stick alone dammit!.....LOL -
I LOVE my Motorola T6300 also bought a Motorola T5200 (cheaper) for the kids to bang around

Alternatively, you could use the expanding foam/cammo paint method Regards, Tedoca The expanding foam method works great on the PVC tubes. I did one not long ago and am hoping it'll stand up to the elements

Personally, I DO like this type of container and have used it for all 6 of my caches, but as discussed before in other threads, there are some considerations. First off, I'd NEVER use one in an urban environment....The chances would be too high that non-geocachers would accidently discover and mistake it for something sinister. I would imagine most bomb-building twits generally wouldn't want their efforts to go unoticed by the 6 o'clock news out in the wilderness...but even then, make sure it's concealed well so that only fellow-geocachers who are expecting to find such a container actually find it. As for the containers being hard to open, this does happen. To counter this, I found that applying petroleum jelly to the threads kept moisture out and prevented freeze ups. ....just my two cents. Cheers, cliffy

quote:Some local cachers may have been surprised by my log book entries noting times like 2am or 3am Dang! I LOVE caching at night......at least up here during the winter months..... When there's snow on the ground and a low cloud ceiling the light from any metro area just bounces back to the snow and lights it up (no flashlight needed) plus in winter there's no leaf/foliage to get in your way...... Night caching rocks! I got in big "poo-poo" from my girlfriend for logging one on Christmas day at 2am.....I told her I was going out to find a cache...She thought I was kidding...hehehe

Hi there, just wondering about the quilt's status? Did it make out to Moun10bike and the big cache event? Once again great work Debb.........I showed my mother (an avid quilter) the pics and she thought it tuned out "dynamite". Cheers
