  1. Sound like they forgot to log the TB as being dropped in the cache. Grab it from current holder show it shows up in your inventory. Let do as you please with it., take it to a few caches then drop it off in one.
  2. OK if it is like my eTrex 20, Hook it up to your computer and navigate to Computer> Garmin eTrex10(drive letter )>Garmin>GPX file and delete the files in there. I am guessing that you have loaded a bunch of caches, way points and PQ's and taken up the space on the drive. WARNING THIS WILL DELETE ALL THE INFORMATION ON YOUR GPS !!!! So if you have important way points on your GPS use base camp to find them and download the to your PC so you can save them.
  3. Thanks davequal, thats exactly what I was looking for. scott Any time Scott. Dave
  4. I think the easiest thing for you to do is make a PQ.... then down oad it and put them in the GPSr.
  5. There seems to be an issue with Garmin Comm and Macs at this point. It is all over the forums. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=293387
  6. Man I have a tough time on these forums some days. The first picture shows the menu screen of my eTrex 20, second is the list of caches loaded, third is a random cache I selected for this post, 4th is the menu options selected for this post, 5th the same, Last is the description of the cache. Any more questions just ask.
  7. This in mine: http://coord.info/TB482M8. I "dip it" in the caches I like and milestone events. I will take it to events with me to be discovered, and take it home at the end of the day. You can carry a TB dog tag, a coin or what ever.
  8. All I have ever used is Garmin products. I would go for the eTrex's. My friend has a magellan explorist gc... he likes it. It "seems" to be as good as my 20 (when it is working properly).....
  9. Glad to see POSITIVE updates. As I said in the other thread I am going to wait for public release. The 1 Beta I tried was the start of all issues with mine. At this point I have to have have GLONASS and WAAS/EGNOS all OFF to have mine operational in a caching environment.
  10. THANK YOU !!! it Works :-) :D Then your English is better than my German. Glad I could help.
  11. I use 3rd Party software. Not sure if it is OK to post the link.
  12. Normally I would be right there in the bleachers with you, but I have an urge to be a beta tester. I really think this is going to be a gang buster unit once they get the issues resolved. The last beta went well, so I have hopes for this one. That last beta was the down fall for my unit.... The 2.7 seemed to fix it.... I am gonna stay away from betas from now on..... at least on my GPSr
  13. I will let y'all beta test... and keep watching this thread.....
  14. Very good advise. I am the experienced cacher in my group and I only have ~260.....
  15. I have had days like those. I went to avenge 1 DNF. There is a multi in the same park that every time I go after it or prepare to there was something wrong with it. I read the current logs. ALL WAS GOOD TO GO. YEA right 1 stage missing...... What ever all part of the game....
  16. My German is horrible. From the track-able page, on the right there should be a link to upload the photo. You might have to save it from your computer to upload it to the TB page. Hope this helps you, David Mein Deutsch ist schrecklich.
  17. BATTERIES !!!..... insect wipes.... a few pens... Kids coloring books, puzzle books.... .....
  18. http://coord.info/GC38JRJ One of my caching buddy's cache. Not on school property, he made 3 or 4 trips with a camera, taking pictures to show to the reviewer that it was not school property. He had a hard time getting it published.
  19. I had a travel bug like that once. I put a bunch of photos on and set it free. Mind you it * COULD* contain something that can harm your computer or steal all your personal info. If you AV software did not set off any warnings.. I would guess you should be safe. Speaking of that travel bug..... I ought to go check my list....
  20. Both of my caches are out of state and maintained by my sister, unless I am there. She works 4 on 4 off (any combo) of 12 hour (ish) days or night. So she can take care of what ever needs to be done pretty quickly. With the exception of container replacement.
  21. OH I do not doubt it. I have seen it in his video. The reason I say something about serial numbers, I bought mine the week it came out.. so it SHOULD be an early production number. As I said mine thought about freaking out once.
