I think my dinghy is ok...It is outside the gate and I believe it is on the easement for the highway. But I have always thought more of my dinghy then others do so I guess we will have to see what Ranger David says about my dinghy...I hope he is ok with my dinghy and lets me keep it...I don’t want to end up like FattBoy...he lost his!

You did not complain when I hid my dinghy...You wanted to beta test my dinghy....you found my dinghy...and you had no problem signing my dinghy...I noticed that you spent a long time looking at my dinghy......and you logged my dinghy...but I guess you just wanted to use my dinghy and now that you are done with my dinghy you want it removed!!! Hey check out this forum...I think it is some of my best work....man I love sarcasm!!!

So all of the people that work for GC.com should do it for free??? Even though they put in 60+ hours a week....al of the computers and servers should be donated???? All of the peripherals, programming and donations should fly out of a monkeys a**??? Wow I want to live in that world....in fact...I have a new group I just formed...it is called Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! It will be a great game that involves sports, hiking, online research and food tasting. I need programmers to volunteer, I need people to donate lots of cutting edge equipment and I need some one to pay my car and house payment plus feed my wife, dog and myself...plus a little spending money on the side...ok a lot of spending money on the side...I like sushi and my local coffee house. In return I will open the WTF game up to all for free...no membership fees!

Ok let me expand on what I said... I believe all people should have to pay to use the GC site...I believe there should be a trial period (say 30 days). I know that there is an incredible amount of work/expense involved in keeping this site up and running not to mention all of the improvements. I became a member in my first week of caching. But have seen very active cachers with big numbers that have never become members. I have not always felt this way...when I first started hiding caches I would keep them "members only" for the first few weeks then open them up. What changed my mind was all of the thefts of caches, Jeeps and Coins. I have noticed that the majority of theft is from, open caches. So to sum it up I believe "member only" caches are safer and I think this service should not be enjoyed (long term) for free. PS As far as the "non member" caches I have...I have adopted allot of the caches I have...and out of respect for the cachers who I adopted them from...I keep them the way they were when I adopted them. PPS I respect your opinion and hope you respect my opinion...as that is all it is...I have no control over GC rules or polices.

Its a bunch of crap! They made me archive two of my caches...and I still find others (new and old) that are the same...even more blatant about it. And they allow caches in places that charge admission??? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!

I never log a cache twice as a find. If a cache has moved and I go back and find it in its new place, I log it as a note. Others see nothing wrong with logging it as a new find. There is a reasonable argument to be made for either position. As far as I'm concerned, this is one of those cases where you can decide for yourself what rules you want to play by. The date feature tells me that I need to get out more on Wednesdays! I think the log a re-hid cache thing is a grey area...I am going to stick to the black and only log a cache once...I did log a locationless twice...it said it was cool to log a street with your first, middle and last names...and you were welcome to log it once for each...I think the signs were about 10 miles apart... Most of my finds are on Monday and Friday's. Saturday and Sundays are my least cached days

You "discovered" the coin...you needed to "retrieve" it. Now, since you gave everyone the code, someone else has "grabbed" it....you need to "grab" it back and then drop it in the cache.

Part of the problem is that the tracking numbers are visible in your photos. This allows any one that views the TB/Coins page to log it. When you take the photo take it so the tracking number is not visible or edit it to remove the number. Have fun and happy caching!
