Actually, I don't think it's part of the Federal Constitution. Good for you QD-Man...You are correct it is not part of the constitution...even though 99% of Americans think it is. It is part of the Bill of Rights...or at least the intent...the intent was to keep the state out of the church not the other way around. They (The Founding Fathers) left England to escape religious persecution by a State-run church and wanted to make sure that the same thing did not happen here. However comma...I think we are way off of what Dan-Oh was asking...he was asking "What do you think about the appropriateness of a cache for an issue or cause?" In my opinion, this cache is not for an issue or cause...The owner of the cache has even put his own money in the cache for people to donate if they would so like. Also, the organization that cares for the memorial is not a church or religious group--but a non profit group of the American Legion. Mt. Soledad is a memorial to this country's heroes...with or without the cross. I would rather see a cache like this that is free...than one like "The Cave Store" where you have to pay $4.00 to a private party.

Weighing in on an issue is what I want to avoid. Specific question: What do you think about the appropriateness of a cache for an issue or cause? I don't see any controversy...It is a memorial to honor the dead/people who served this country. The money raised goes for up keep...The cache encourages giving however comma it is nor required. Only one place to buy a GPS ...go to REI you will pay a bit more but you have an unconditional lifetime warranty. I have been caching for just over a month and I am on my second GPS. Say a new model comes out...take it back and get the new one. Say you want to upgrade...take it back. Say your wife says "no more caching" take it back...yes if you don’t want it any longer you get your money back. Say two months after you purchased it...the company offers a rebate...take it back and submit your new receipt. Say a rock falls on it...take the parts back and get a new one. The only thing that is not covered is loss/theft...you must at least have the parts/unit (lol I said “unit”) to exchange. And what is funny is that "fishnthesea" (the owner of the other GWM cache) could not get it approved because the first step of a multi cache "Not Another Canyon" had it's first waypoint 500 feet away! Final coords and intermediate coords next to each other shouldn't be a problem; it's the final coords that can't be within 528 feet. Flagman has a relatively new multi cache with an intermediate waypoint within 50 feet of a cache. I can't tell you which cache it is 'cause that would spoil the fun; it is a local treasure. Yep...that is why it is funny...they would not approve it...he argued with them (the other caches first way point was not even a physical cache) they still said no...he removed the cache and was in the Antarctic when it was finally approved....hence none of us could find the cache...and FlagMan put out a temp...until he returned...

Check out GCN3BX Ok...lol...this is funny. zenfire the owner of this cache...has 3 finds... and owns (or has owned) 4 caches... 3 of the caches are the same one...2 times resurrected... 2 of the 3 finds are zenfire's own caches... and Duscwe! was FTF this time and last This one makes "Livinrgttoo" look normal.

Well, this is not enitrely without precedent. After all, YP1 #13 was Yrium by Yrium. So I guess we should have a "Design The FlagMan Card" contest. Anyone who wants to submit a design, please do so by Sunday evening (if more time is needed, this can be extended on request). Same thing for the short quip on the reverse side. I'll figure a way to post these submittals and we'll have some sort of quick and dirty poll (does anyone out there have the ability to do a webpoll?), with GoBolt having the final say since it is his choice. Then I'll take it from there and get them printed up and out there. In case you don't have it, my e-mail address for submittals is tsayer1@san.rr.com. Maybe the submittals should go to GoBolt? I picked up the Udesignit "You Name the Cacher" (tb) out of "It Came From Beneath the Sea" tonight. I name FlagMan ... I am a newbie cacher (just over a month) and have not met him, but I have done some of his caches "Zis Is KAOS, Ve Don’t Bush-vaak Here" wow what a cache (ingenious). I have seen his name everywhere I go and think, 'what he is doing with the "Yrium Memorial Cards" is great!' I looked through the names of the people who had cards and was surprised he (FlagMan) did not have one...well it is time to correct that [] Since I have not met FlagMan I ask the caching community to help design it...please forward your Ideas to FlagMan. Soooo I know this is the SD Cachers forum and not the Old Diesel Volkswagen Pick-up forum…however comma I feel like we are one big dysfunctional family…soooo does any one know a good VW diesel mechanic. Well Sumrall (Tigger's Mango) felt left out....so she went out caching (on Sunday)and got stung by a bee and the bee died She was ok and we kept on caching...(she was bit on her first cache of the day and got 10 more before calling it quits (including "fear factor"))! She was ok when she went to bed Sunday night but woke up Monday to a swollen/painful hand. Being the trooper that she is she went to work....mid day it was getting worse...well to make a long story a bit shorter she ended up in the ER Monday evening...seems she is allergic to bee stings...and that some how it turned into an infection. So today...it is worse...goes to the doctor he say..."Holly cow its spreading up your arm"! Well she is home and on drugs and resting...but not doing so well Please keep her in your prayers. Dave Her hands 48 hours after the sting.

We are sorry....tigger's mango and I assumed this was some sort of avante-garde cache (a la Christos?) as I have, myself, become a travel bug...and we signed the log. I apologize and we will not try to log this as a find. Please do not think of us as infidels, but simply as newbies with an over-developed sense of artistry...bravo maestro and we look forward to finding your cachces in their intended locales!
