Well I can not speak for that area....but we have a great/friendly bunch of cachers down here...(San Diego). However comma...if you ever want to cache in SD we have gatherings almost every weekend...we have alot of great female cachers...and if you don't mind caching with guys...a few of us get together every Friday...or maybe we can work some thing out! How about we all just go and find the cache's get the smiley face and not worry about what this person are that person has done. This is suppose to be fun. If not and you want to WHINE about it go to the new WHINE thread. Well, I was trying to be funny with my last post. Clearly I don't have a future as a comedian.

Now don't get me wrong...I am not a fan of TJ...(it is like most border towns...not a good representation of a contry)...I think if you want to go to Mexico...It starts at about Ensanada. However comma...I have gone to TJ 100's of times...have always driven and have never had a problem...I also do not drink when I am in TJ and act/drive like I do in the states. I find that most of the people that have problems were A. Doing some thing they could/would not do in the states. or B. Were acting like arrogant, obnoxious Americans and pissed some one off. or C. Were just being stupid.

One of these years...can we please do it on a weekend that does not contain a Chargers home game?...I hate having to leave early on Sunday morning...and loose out on a day of drinking and caching. Splashes and Skillet, please advise if a change is being considered as I need to book a reservation. No, I'm not wussing out; my daugther wants to come out, but she was terrified of the winds pushing around our rented tent trailer in the March event. Tnx. BTW I concur with the event on an away-game weekend. No plans to change the dates, these are the ones that seem to work best. I can call the Charger's head office and maybe the NFL tho, to see if they can change the schedule to accomodate us! I don't think we've had any winds at the Oct. campouts, so hopefully this one won't either. We usually have it at this time of year so that it cools off at night. Sweet idea on having the dessert contest again, I think we had more judge volunteers on that one than contestants! The cost of putting this site on-line is astronomical...servers, computers, an office, electricity, software, etc. etc.etc....not to mention the full time employees (they have to buy gas to get to work). I think the cost of geocaching is cheap compared to almost any other sport. If you don't think so try golf some time.
