  2. Well, the #'s could be a 0 or a o....but tried both, one says that its not activated. I am very new to the game and wanna respect it by making sure that this TB gets on its way. I found it at Lake Pueblo outside the park and its a non-graved key. As far as my knowledge it no other info with it but the bug and the code. The other bug that I found there will be moved asap. I would love to find the owner and keep it moving. Oh, it was so sweet finding 2 tb on only 2 caches that we had time for whoop! oh, and a nasty sun burn. bahahah! Thanks Kristine78
  3. GUESS WHAT!!!!!!! I FOUND ONE!!!!!!! heheeheheh. I can barely contain myself. Thanks everyone for the wonderful advice. I will use all of them. Also thanks for the warm welcome. Look forward to posting more about my finds. Kristine78
  4. WOW!!! can I have you all over for a cook out! what a nice community of people! I know, I have so much to learn but am very excited about every little tidbit that I can soak up! I wanna post a pic of what I am putting in the cache, that will be close to my house. But don't know how lol. I am use to the old copy/paste thing ...but it won't let me do it. I only make one a year for a party that I throw, offers for me to sell them...but won't, thy are a booby prize that is offered for a contest. Last year I made one, but got sick and couldn't give it away....this is the perfect chance. My daughter, if you can see her in my info......has already drawn out plans in crayon. My father is a rock hunter, so I think that I was born for this kinda thing....
  5. okay.......going into avatar for dummy mode. I think I did it right? can you upload more pics or just the one? Also in reply, I have a TomTom that has the latitude and longitude mode. So, I guess now is to try to find my first one and find out how accurate it really is?
  6. Thanks for the awesome advice everyone and have written it down. Already, planning everything out and making the I am fallowing the rules, cause well....that is what makes it fun. Thank you ATMOSPHERIUM......I have found that I have already made a mistake and big hugs for you pointing it out. I will proceed with caution from now on. Thankfully, my inlaws are house sitting....cause of a wedding in town. And we left our dog behind. I do appreciate your concern, and consider me SPANKED! lol. I will video tape out hunt for you all to see and some pictures. Thankyou all so much! now if I can just edit my info and load pictures of my first box treasure. It very unusual and a signature item heeheh. Best of wishes Kristine78
  7. Yes, I will like to at least find 50 or so to get the feel of it. Thanks so much for the wonderful advice. I have also printed out the guidelines and highlight important facts. I plan to hide mine 2 blocks from my house, as I live close to a open wildlife area ( non private and open to the public). I have pulled up all the ones that I would like to hunt for. And am shock to find that there are so many!!! I thought that I would get lucky with just one. Question, I have a TomTom GPS ( auto) how close do you think that it would drop me? to the cache...or does that vary on who set the #'s. Rats......was gonna insert an image, still gotta figure that out bahahah! Kristine78
  8. Oh, I am sorry. I am still trying to get it all worked out on here. Didn't even know that I had a profile lol!!! I am from Denver, Colorado. And thank you for such a warm welcome. I also have a FB page. But can't find anything on there about cache. And thank you so much for the advice. I am really pumped to make my first one this weekend!!! I am addicting to searching on this site! lol And so it begins Lots of hugs! Kristine78
  9. I am going on my first trip caching on the 4th of June, at Lake Pueblo Colorado. So! I wanna hide one! And wondering if anyone will be over there at that time, that would like to go with me. I can give location of campsite etc. Has anyone been there at the Lake Pueblo before, I heard there are snakes? well more than usual. I am a muralist for residential and commercial areas, and would looooove to make a really neat cache. What works and what doesn't. Also for night caches.....my I thought about using floresent rocks to guide the way ( if user has a UV light) or is that a lame idea? I have tons of rocks that glow, so thats not a worry. lol. I am so excited and thanks for all the wonderful info that you guys offer, what a treat. Would you like to see the cache when I am done? get the final stamp of approval. thanks so much everyone, be safe out there and have fun! Kristine
  10. *Jumps out of the bushes* " Hey I am a lurker"!!! well I guess not anymore heeheh. I am going on my first cache hunt at Lake Pueblo Colorado. I can barely contain myself. Round of hugs for everyone! Kristine
