  1. The previous picture is so nice that I would like to propose that it be held exempt from Photoshopping.
  2. Merry Christmas to one and all. I hope we'll take the time to think about the gifts we've received that didn't come from the store. I wish you great blessings in the coming year.
  3. So is that snowman wearing button-fly trousers?

  6. I found a cell phone today as I was bushwacking down the hill just southwest of GCKM2C. It looks like it's been there for a while, and the battery's dead, but if you think it might be yours, send me an email.
  7. Sign me up TT! I don't have any of those far away ones solved so that would work for me! But seriously, I'll take at look at them over the next couple of weeks and try to solve as many as I can! Hey Jeff The Geobabes would be happy to join you on your puzzle hunt!! You are welcome to ask us for any hints, info., etc. that you might need!! We are working on those puzzles to the best of our abilities! TTFN, Splashette & $kimmer What is the official day of the puzzle hunt? I'll probably be available on the 2nd.
  8. Welcome to the collective. Even our frogs have antennae.
  9. Disclaimer - I did this mainly so I could log the find. I went out looking for Mass Cache and couldn't find it, even with the hint. I called RLCSpeaker, who lives about a mile away and had already found. He confirmed that it was AWOL. I replaced it with a cammoed Altoids tin. I don't ask for thanks, the smiley is enough.
  10. The "Twoo Wuv" Series started as a multi. I had all the containers placed. Each container had a puzzle to solve to get the coordinates for the next stage. Then I thought, "This is way too much work for one smiley." So I went back to each waypoint, pulled the puzzles, and re-created it as a series. Three or four sounds about right to me, unless there's a good reason for more. Just ask yourself if it's something you would enjoy. If it is, we'll probably enjoy it as well.
  11. I've placed my favorite cache-related photos in a blog.
  12. Sometimes you can wait until the cache has been found a few times, then email the owner. Say you'd love to find their cache, but have no idea how to solve the puzzle. Ask for a hint. I've never had an owner refuse. They really want you to solve the puzzle, or they wouldn't have placed it.

Actually, I think he was drinking Scotch, as Scotland's about where the mis-paint occurred. Before we let you leave, your commander must cross that field, present himself before this army, put his head between his legs, and kiss his own arse. Guess the movie? Hint: FREEEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!
  14. It means that the cache owner and I agree that I have done something worthy of a smiley. I include the cache owner because they have the right to remove a smiley that they don't believe I've earned. That happened once, when I logged a virtual and posted a photo that someone else had already posted. The owner pointed out my mistake, i thanked him for his diligence, and life went on. Smilieys are the page numbers of my geocaching journal.
  15. I'm a Forensic Document Examiner, also known as a Questioned Document Examiner. Questioned Document - QD - QDman.
  16. Where in the US Constitution does it say this? I must have missed it. Pssst: I'll give you a hint. It doesn't. Here's another hint. If you're unsure of what the Constitution was and wasn't meant to be, try reading The Federalist Papers, which was written by the same people who wrote the Constitution. Marbury vs. Madison. In 1803. US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Marshall established that one of the roles of the court is to interpret the constitutionality of laws. It's pretty much been that way for 202 years now. sbell111 and I, along with several others, went around and around on this topic here a while back. I think we all came away with an appreciation of the other side of the argument. Moderation in all things. Terence, Andria Roman comic dramatist (185 BC - 159 BC) Perhaps I'm not understanding what you're saying, but I think there's a big difference between interpreting whether a law is consitutional, and saying that the constitution is a living (by which I believe you mean changing) document. Obviously, laws need to be examined to make sure they're constitutional. But if we're going to change the constitution, why have one?
  17. More Team Adelos puzzle caches? YAY!
  18. That link takes me to Microsoft.com.
  19. Thanks for giving me the inspiration to make my favorite list: kawikaturn's Favorites I was reading this and thinking, "Somebody ought to..." then I realized that I'm somebody. So I combined the above-listed favorites and discovered that there are 9 caches that stand a little taller than the rest.
