There where many reasons for the detail none of which are or ever where of sinister motive. Welcome packs where one, we needed to know whether people where family teams or individual cachers. In the early stages we where not sure how the catering payment was to be handled. Hence the detail. Also geocoin sales etc. But one of the worries earlier on was confirming that we had the numbers to be granted the "Mega" status. It might have been that any person regardless of age was included in the numbers. As it happens lack of numbers is not now a problem As it was we where covering all angles in the registration process, better too much than too little..

Well Mandy I think It's shocking.. I guess HH forgot to give you your coins.. Tut Tut. To be honest these are the first coins I have bpught fpr myself so I guess I will keep them to myself Steve

There is another forum where we can do as we like. More people should use it. Philip As Philip noted there is another forum. As one of the committee for the event I think we can say it was always a light hearted sort of a comp (if any comp at all). Just post stuff up afterwards.. Pictures, video, audio of the day.. comments etc to youtube, forums, event page etc.. Your prize.. well you could host the 2009 event Lets just enjoy the days of festivities, and maybe do some caching at the same time. I have put in an order for 10 days sunshine to cover events.. Just some fun. Upload video and pictures taken at the event. The more taken by the younger generation the better (they are probably better at it than us anyway) Then everybody can have a laugh.. You know there was talk of a big bowl of ice cold water full of sponges.. some stocks a "mod" and a couple of his "ex" mod buddies.. Some cachers would pay good wonga for that footage

Just a bit of news.. The Mega Event Geocoins are in the country.. Seems I have given myself the job of posting the Silver Supporter coins out to those who requested postal rather than pick up at the event.. Note only the silver coins will be posted out, gold must be picked up at the event. First dispatch in the morning. The coins are going fast so order quickly to avoid disapointment. Anybody going to the Durham meet (GC1CDBB) Tomorrow 28.06. will be able to snafffle some from Either Harrogate Hunters (Robin) or myself at the event..

Im a roving engineer working on Electric vehicle charging systems.. As such my working area is from Newcastle to Grimsby Nottingham and Manchester.. Lunchtime is between 8am and 5pm (Floating) so I could be any where at any time.. I may have a free hour to do a great multi.. Or may drive by a easy grab as I am too busy as the time takes me.. Sometimes I finish work next to a cache hotspot so go for a walk before I head home.... Not a bad job (but plenty of stress) Maybe thats why my GSAK file has 8280 caches active and listed

We have just upgraded to an Outwell Nevada M from this tent.. Argos cat no 340/8551 which has only been used a couple of times.. We are hoping to be at Piratemania as well as Mega Camping and can bring it along for anybody to have a look or try.. The tent is like new and will be a good starter for a family of 4.. Extra couple of ground sheets thrown in free. Only looking for £25 or so..

I also followed up the advice on the forums and Emailed the supposed "Good" contact regarding my old Legend with a faulty joystick.. Im an Electronic engineer by trade so was more than willing to do all the work.. All I was after was the small circuit board.. Was not too bothered that the rubber adhesive went south within a month or so of purchace.. The responce was.... Err I'm still waiting.. 3 emails later I have zero responce.. Seems thy are not bothered to show off their new Colorado to nearly a thousand people in August either.. Never mind it's their loss
