  1. This seriuosly stupid stuff, not what we need or want in Geocaching.
  2. It will be fine, but takes alot to weigh it down.
  3. That definitly falls in the "any landing is a good one" catagory!! Nice job on the part of your pilot and you also.
  4. Sounds like a great idea, should be fun for your family. Good luck!
  5. You find the darndest things in a cache!
  6. I see you are from the Czech Republic, there are about 3200 caches in your country. If you goto "hide and seek a cache" you can get a list of all the caches in your country. Where it says "Find a cache" there is a line that says "by country" There you can scroll down the list of countries to "czech Republic" and enter that. It will give you a list of 162 pages with 20 caches on a page. At the bottom of each page is box to "Check all" click that and hit "download" and the page will download, do this for each page and you will soon have a file of all the caches in your country. also if you become a premium member you can use pocket querries to do the same thing much easier and be able to download 500 caches instantly. GoodLuck and happy Caching!

  10. If you are going to do it quarterly 4 people can get the Icon each year. I agree however that more than one person should be able to get the icon when you put on an event.
  11. A note on the log page,"Any update on this cache?" should help.
  12. When I go to edit any of my cache pages, instead of showing the information in the normal format, I am getting a single line of type arrainged verically at the left edge of the page. Has anyone run into this? Does anyone have a fix? TIA.....Wiseye Come on IK I know YOU can fix anything!
  13. What I find disturbing about the cache the OP speaks of is that a hint is given to help you find it! And WHO are the two people watching it?
  14. I had the same problem and concerns. Garmin delt with it when they sent the new unit. I still have a 2nd unlock availible. Contact them by phone If you can. They are also good with Email and as you pobally know from your experience with your first unit they are easy to deal with. I'm sure they will help you out. Good luck and Happy caching!
  15. I agree with SBell on this, When I need a lawyer to go caching, then the heck with it all. I can manage to stay out of trouble without the extra advice, thank you,
  16. I pay monthly via paypal and get billed on the same day each month, 23rd. You should get a full month or a full year if you pay the annual rate.
  17. 'cause 'ya didn't FIND them, 'ya knew where they were!
  18. My first TB was put in the end of a 5 stage multi, that is little visted. It sat for about 4 months untill a kind sole went on a rescue mission and moved the TB on. Was I happy, not until it was moved along. The cache only had one vist in between.
  19. I agree, Matchcases are better containers. I take a piece of paper the lenght of the matchcase and clue a toothpick to one end, it is then very simple to roll it up. Don't make logs for micros so that they fill the container, leave some room, so that folks can slide the log back in easily.
  20. They are usually placed on or in "Free" paper boxes, so no cash for cache.
  21. Be Kind and Re-cover, this cache may be somebodys mother! Don't be a SAP, Rewrap!
  22. try boulter.com/gps/distance/ it will be exact. say thankyou to Fizzy Magic.
