  1. What do you mean? This is what is on WW's page: Recently spotted: In the hands of MissJenn.
  2. - noted. [This message was edited by MissJenn on April 16, 2002 at 08:22 AM.]
  3. Way way cool idea. -----
  4. There aren't REALLY 2 Wonder Womans (Wonder Women???) going around are there? What is the story behind that? I am just now getting sucked in to the vortex which is The Challenge of the Superfriends. Great site. (By the way, WW is doing JUST peachy with me.) -----

  6. I will be travelling to Alaska this August 2002. If that is of any help to any Travel Bugs in my area (eastern Pennsylvania), please click on my profile and email me. -----
  7. That's really cool that you fixed it. I wonder if it's owner is even aware of all that you have been going though for this? I am sure the Shrunken Head would shake your hand in gratitude if only it had a hand.
  8. I guess that suggestion is worth a try, smoochnme. Just use the same dates ... so all that "activity" is logged for the same day. I assume that you have the 6 digit code# still? I know I do not have it anymore (I know, I know ... that was silly of me). -----
  9. Excellent thoughts, everyone. DO click on the link for "nearby caches" before leaving your computer. You never know: another few caches may be within a mile or three of where you want to go. That could make for an extra productive cache day! -----

  11. WonderWoman is at my house! Wheeeeeeee!!!!! New question - which also might mean we should close this thread as it will no longer have anything to do with the Northeast, soon - Tecmage and/or Markwell, Which cache in South Bend would you recommend I place her in? (Keep in mind: Though I have always been a very outdoorsy type, I am a novice cacher - been at it since December 2001. I will be travelling alone. I will not have intimate knowledge of the South Bend area - I just travel there occassionally.) Feel free to email me, instead of posting a reply here. EDIT: after I posted this, I looked more carefully at the cache map of Indiana, and it seems I really only have one choice: Tower Of Evil. Give me a yell when you get here! Local dangers usually come in form of poison ivy and deer ticks.... much less deadly than your current part of the country.

I'm sure lots of others would want geocaching partners .... if even occassionally .... Anyone in eastern PA, for example? -----
  15. I leave my log entry with a green frog stamp. no big surprise I have also seen (in the Syracuse area) some cahcers who have hole punchers in fun shapes (like animal tracks and such). -----

  17. One of my most treasured event trinkets was not from a geocaching event (as I have never been to one), but it may spark an idea for you. It was a Jeep event, out in the woods, in a rocky area: I received a rock smaller than my fist, hand- painted with the name and date of the event. Some of the kids did not want to particiapte in all the Jeep events, so they stayed near camp and did the hand-painting themselves, with adult supervision, of course. -----
  18. It says in the page Guide to Creating and Hiding a Cache: Please do not bury the container unless you have express permission of the landowner or manager. If the cache is far enough away from trafficked areas, your cache should be fine. An exception would be covering the cache with dead branches, bark, etc. to conceal the container. -----
  19. SHAGUAR is very funny, complete with sound and story! Logs are also muy interesante ! -----

  21. This one, the 25 cent tour, has a similar goal. I hope both TBs have good luck and goodpeed! -----
  22. We seem to have a pretty good plan on the table for Wonder Woman, but of course, an obvious question occurs to me: what if someone else picks up WW before I get there? or, if I get her to South Bend, and put her in a cache there, what if someone other than our "in-the-know" group picks her up? Have any of you ever used some sort of label on a Travel Bug, saying something along the lines of "PLEASE TAKE THIS TRAVEL BUG ONLY IF YOU ARE {insert correct name here}"? Is this rude? Would this work? Shall we try it? What do you think? [This message was edited by MissJenn on April 06, 2002 at 06:57 AM.]
  23. Sorry - I missed that part. I just wasn't paying close enough attention! Okay - whoever did this is just an idiot. -----
