  1. I will be traveling to Atlanta for 10 days on business, and will have a some time to do geocaching while I'm there. Can anyone suggest any "must do" caches in the Atlanta area? I have never been to Atlanta before so I am not familiar with the area at all. Suggestions are appreciated!!

  3. This article appears in todays Toronto Star. Funny how, according to MNR/Ontario Parks, kilometers of logging roads seem to be ok for the enviroment, but a few geocachers straying 10 meters off a trail will cause irreparable harm.
  4. Is it at all possible to see how many users are ignoring a cache that I have created? I don't think this would be a useful feature for the general cache listing, but as a cache owner it would be very handy.

  6. Forgive me if this has already been stated, but have the removed caches been removed from the geocaching.com site? And is it possible to get a complete list of all the removed caches.
  7. Is Ontarioparks or MNR now removing caches from Algonquin park? GC82F0 , GC1444, GC8046 have been reported not found in the past couple of weeks. These caches have been in their hiding spots for a couple of years. In no way am I accusing MNR of removing these caches, I just find it strange that these low traffic caches, in a disputed area all go missing at the same time.
  8. If this is not the correct forum for this message, please forgive me. I just got my first notification email from the new notify service. I think this service is great, however can I make one suggestions? As I rarly go anywhere without my cell phone and GPS, it would be great if the notification email included the waypoint (GCxxxxx) in the message. I have these notifications sent to my cell phone, and I can't find them using the WAP service without knowing the waypoint.
  9. I agree with the above reply, the cache type, size and difficulty would be a wonderful addition to this service!
  10. Has anyone else with a Garmin Legend noticed that the pointer is slow to update to the direction of the waypoint. Here is what I have noticed while geocaching. Looking and the distance field, when I walk over or past the waypoint location the distance indicator changes as it should, within a reasonable amount of time. (Decreasing as I approach the cache, increasing as I pass it) However it takes several seconds (30-60) for the pointer to reverse direction. I have noticed this in both battery saver and normal mode. The GPS accuracy does not seem to play a role either. I am running V3.7 of the software, the latest version.
