  1. I'm not quite sure what 'field note' support is, but I've added enhancement requests for the others to a bug tracker I've set up. Hopefully I'll be able to publish that address in a few days once I've cleaned up the interface a bit. I'm also curious if anyone out there has found any significant bugs with the "current" 1.5 release. I know of one which involves not being able to open the first cache you choose after sorting the list, but would like to get things stable before working on a lot of new functionality.
  2. I haven't really seen any other large amount of work on this, but MariettaGecko and I have been thinking about doing some work on the code as well. In that regard, is there interest in us actually extending the software with new functionality, or just doing some basic bug fixing? I'm just trying to gauge how much interest there still is in this program, since it has fallen somewhat out of view.
  3. Is there a specific reason why this information couldn't be included in your first micro stages directly? I take it that it is to cut down on the amount of information each geocacher needs to record at each stage? Tyrithe
  4. What would happen if it didn't get to third reading this session? (I do realize that is a far fetched thought, but you never know.) Would they have to start over when the next session convenes? Or is there no way it could be slowed enough?
  5. To table something generally means to postpone, often indefinitely. And I believe Ceips' last amendment passed.
  6. not going to happen though. too many emotions here
  7. I'd say no-go on tabling amendment 6. too much red on the board
  8. Sounds like (un)intentional crossing of permission to place or seek.
  9. So amendment 4 is limited to burial sites only.
  10. This amendment sounds like going from bad to worse...
  11. Actually, I think it's going to be a while before they start the budget. People don't seem too eager to return to debating things.
  12. That'd be a state shooting itself in the foot... Although I do like her attitude... Wonder how much longer they can beat the same horse?
  13. I'd definitely admit he's making a gamble on what the other side would do...
  14. The resolution normally quoted is the number of chips/sec used to encode the spread spectrum signal. (Kind of like bits/second, but it's not called that because there is no data sent at that rate. data is encoded on top of that at about 50 bits/sec) Some receivers can use state change information on the carrier sequence to get a higher accuracy reading.
