On The Beach is the one I'm thinking of - perhaps others might say A Town Like Alice Anyway - the actor who played the submarine commander in On The Beach - well-known American chap - also famous for playing Atticus Finch a few years later -

Thanks for the ding In the first film of what is probably Nevil Shute's most famous novel - who played the commander of the US submarine? Well, maybe I was wrong about it being his most famous novel - it's the one about the events after a nuclear war in the northern hemisphere -

Nevil ( or Neville ) Shute went in R100 ( or R101 ) - an airship anyway - when he came home he became a very good storyteller -

So this is still going ! Is rutson still in charge ? .....I don't think anyone is actually in charge! It says it's hosted by rutson - and I think he used to up the difficulty level if someone was scoring particularly well -

I was always told that you shouldn't advertise your own caches - but rules are meant to be broken I have one (GCR6XE) about 7-8 miles SE of Swindon in Wiltshire - and it's certainly a lost place Best of luck (edited for direction)

Double Ding to you :-) Thanks for that Immediately to the east of Switzerland, and bordered also by Austria, is Liechtenstein. This country is unusual in many ways but perhaps its most uncommon feature is that it’s doubly landlocked i.e., the country itself has no access to the sea, and nor do any of its neighbours. There are only 2 countries that have this feature; Liechtenstein is one – what is the other? Only UN members count. -
