  1. On a caching day we decide how many we are going to find, for an example, today we searched for five caches. We each (Wife daughter and I) started with five one dollar bills. We would read everything we could on a cache (Description and logs), then move to the area. We would all search for the cache. When it was found, the other cachers in the party paid (In this case) one dollar to the one that found it. So here is how we started: Wife: $5 Daughter: $5 Me: $5 My wife found the first cache, so after we logged the cache and then we settled up, my daughter and I each gave "wifey" one of our dollars. Wife: $7 Daughter: $4 Me: $4 We continued on until all five caches were found (Or not) and all the money was transferred. Here is how we did. 1st Found by wife: Wife: $7, Daughter: $4, Me:$4 2nd found by me: Wife: $6, Daughter: $3, Me: $6 3rd Found by daughter: Wife: $5, Daughter: $5, Me: $5 4th Found by wife: Wife: $7, Daughter: $4, Me: $4 5th we did not find (No exchange). One stipulation, if we decide to use the hint, the ante is cut in half if everyone agrees. If one of us looks at the hint, then that cacher receives half payment and those that did not look receive the full ante. This would work just as good with quarters for the little ones but mine in about to be 16 and she's all about the greenbacks. Just a little twist to the fun, Ray
  2. I will be traveling to California next month and plan on taking a few TBs with me. If you want your TB or coin to travel with me and be dropped in California (San Francisco Bay area) let me know and we can work out a drop off at a cache somewhere and I will pick them up. Happy Hunting, Ray

    New ideas?

Ahhhh, whatever we want? This was developed on the other site from all the childish banter that went on day in and day out, as it has been identified I myself am new to the forums so I am unsure if this is an issue here.

    New ideas?

Yes, obviously this is the hard way to find the geocoin that I want. This thought came from a site that seemed to support taking them out of the caches and keeping them against the will of the owner. When I questioned if this was the objective of the site, no one would respond... Needless to say, I do not frequent that site any longer.

    New ideas?

Posts: 11 Maybe it is already there and you don't know it because you need another 239 posts. Yes... Yes... I see your point...lol. I actually thought of that as I was typing it.

    New ideas?

    1. I am a member of another forum that has a section for members that have a certain level of posts. Their cut of is a little low at 100 posts but this can be expanded on to say 500 posts, or to bring it further 500 GC's found. I would further expand to premium membership for say three months. So, the requirements to enter a special members only forum would be something like: 1. Minimum three months paid premium membership. 2. Minimum 250 Geocaches found. 3. Minimum 250 posts on these forums. This would weed out all the newbies that join and cause trouble without understanding the site. 2. Not sure how this one would work but it's an idea. I often would like to keep the geocoins that I find due to their design or meaning (I always put them back out for the record). Is there a way we could make copies of these coins available? ...or is this already happening? Thanks for your time, Ray
  7. Just wanted to be part of the team, I too am not receiving the PQ's. I re-established my premium account today as I have been out of the mix for a few and I did receive the e-mail stating I am now a premium member. The Quaries however, did not make it through. dadgum, the first nice day in awhile, I really wanted to get out there. Since I have been out of the mix for awhile I don't even have an old PQ to get me on the road. Oh well, as the rest, I'll wait for my PQs and get out there when I can. Ray
  8. About two years ago I used my Garmin iQue M5 and EasyGPS software to conduct my caching. I decided to get back into the sport and when I tried to connect the GPS it says this unit is not supported... What am I doing wrong? Ray
  9. I went to a cache a few days ago and the log was wet. I wanted to put a new log in but do not have any. I noticed in my traqvels that there is a basic format and I need to get a few printed out for my cache bag so I will have them when needed. I will be going back out to this Cache in a few hours and I was hoping to fix this one today. Any help would be great, Mr. Paseo
  10. Please include me in on this one, I would like at least one, two if possible. I spent a year over there already and am about to rack up a second tour. (One for each trip). The first one will go in my non trade pile, the second will either be a give away or actually placed in a cache. Please contact my wife or I at mrpaseo@hotmail.com when they are ready.
  11. Alright, not that I am questioning your answer, however, I have found two with minimal looking that is not on the list of 250, that is still active. Anyone else want to chime in and maybe give us some ideas. MrPaseo BTW. If anyone wants this list I can Email it to you. Basically it's an Excel list of 250 Caches and Links to each one. Currently it's only the title and the GC number but I plan on putting one liner notes under each title so I know what is required to claim each cache.
  12. When I go to the Locationless Cache page it only lists 250 Caches. I know there is more than this as one of the ones I currently have is not listed on that page of 250. I would also like to be able to download the list into an Excel workbook for my PDA. Any assistance would be appriciated. PS. I tried to do a Queary and could only come up with 50 at a time. Thanks, Mrpaseo
  13. Thank you all very much, the problem seemed to have worked it's self out. Sorry to repeat a complaint that has been done over and over again, I know how annoying that can be. Thanks again, Mr Paseo
  14. Anyone have problems with this? Hotmail found it, I quearied it three times, all three times received the virus (Hotmail auto virus scan found it) but I just opened the E-mail again and now it's saying nothing about the virus... hmmmm.?
