So updates so far. Goose took it out of his collection and placed it in a cache (virtually only) It shows in the cache but I still cannot grab it nor does it show in either of my collections, just shows me as owner. Contacted help and I'll let you know what thye say. Seems somewhere along the line I boobooed on a process that caused all this. Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

Okay after a couple failed attempts I am still no closer to getting this out of goose's hands. LOL Such a confusing process! Droo-The only options I get in the drop down window are "mark as missing" and "recalculate mileage". Goose placed it in inventory (I received a note as owner) but it still shows in his hands. Not stop...geocaching help. Thank you for your trying.

I am unable to "grab" it from goose because it shows that I put it in my collection but does not show under the collection option to place it back in circulation. I will contact him and see if he can place it in my hands or something. I don't know what happened.

Wow okay I'm going to contact him and see if he can do that. I can't do anything with it. lol thanks for the help! I'll keep you posted!

A generous fellow cacher gifted a coin to me recently and I'm a bit puzzled as to why I can't access it. We did the adoption process which went okay. I accidently put it in my collection not fully understanding what that meant. I thought I was taking from his inventory and putting it in mine but that was not the case. The problem is I can't get it out of my collection because it does not show up on my collection inventory. It shows I own it (I adopted it) but I can't put it back into circulation. Frustrating! Any suggestions? Thanks!

I had my first and only coin 'borrowed for good" just this month. Only had the opportunity to travel to one other cache before it went missing. Unfortunate because I love finding them and moving them along but will not be purchasing anymore to put out, unless I do the proxy idea. Sad really because they are cool to find. =)

Hi all! Relatively new to the game and have made my first rather large oops! I put a geo coin that is trying to visit all the states in a new cache but then logged it in the wrong one. I can't get the coin code to re "grab" it unless I physically go back to the cache I left it in. I made a note on the wrong and correct cache, they are very close to each other. I just don't know how to correct it in the log. Any suggestions?? Thanks! =)
