  1. actually, given the fact that the co, hasn't visited the site since 2008, this cache is actually a candidate for adoption or sba, in my opinion
  2. 53.566533,-1.740533(High Brow (THE RESURRECTION)) this is what is entered by the application, the problem comes when high brow take precedence over the cache coordinates, take out the highlighted part and the mapping is correct
  3. problem comes because the program labels the coordinates, high brow is also the name of a street in Birmingham, eng, I corrected it easily by taking high brow out of the description and leaving just the coordinates.
  4. i see exactly what you mean, never blindly follow your gps, use your instincts. no I don't know how to fix it, except advise people to just use the coordiates to the cache, by naming the location you are picking up an address in I think it was manchester.
  5. http://www.geocaching.com/my/routeedit.asp...7d-34dbd5530fdb this is the easiest way to get a pocket cache, since you have an etrex yellow, you will have to hand enter the coordinates, I believe.
  6. sounds good to me, I would have no problem with it.
  7. I have logged serveral in colorado, I know Utah has caches in ski country but inaccessable in the winter,
  8. okay, some of filtering, is cancelling out all the the caches, for example, if I checkmark all the ones I have found, and checkmark all the ones I haven't found. I think that is where your problem is, just do a basic search, with no filters, and see what come up
  9. I knew it was too easy, your are up stagunner
  10. did you put a checkmark on saturday
  11. This was established in 1932 and was designed to symbolize friendship between the United States and Canada.

  16. if you want a guided geocaching trip, you might have more success find someone in the Great Britain section, also checkout whether there are any events coming up in your area. I checked, furthest out I could get was Portsmouth, so try to find some people in your area, they are definitely there
  17. I just activated my pq for this week, received them all within five minute no problem
  18. kelly, I am south of you but I know there is an active group in Sioux Falls, just watch the events. I went to look and there is an event, saturday in North Sioux City. The next event is Sioux Falls is april 25th
  19. and be certain to watch out for the Whomping willow
  20. a five by definition is supposed to be difficult and it looks like a new clue has been posted
  21. I don't see why you would have a problem with your gps'r, I assume you are talking about crossing borders
  22. you might have more success sorting these, using gsak and then loading onto your gps, even if you don't want to buy that program, it is available at no cost on a trial basis
  23. looks like you have mapping software, but you need a gps'r to complete the package.
  24. kenora, ontario, oh well try again next time
  25. in the computer world, friends are people you network with. If you befriend somebody in a social networking envoirment which this formum was written for, you know when your friends come on.
