With the coins we have ordered and continue to do so, there have only been a small amount that seemed to take forever, but then would get wrapped up in the next frenzy and forget about it until one day we go, " Hey didn't we order those?" I don't mind funding someones design by payment in advance, (had better be a nice coin) but most of the time any more, shipment as been really fast and quality of packaging has improved so much.. Dosn't seem to be as big of a wild west as it was a year or two ago.. On our coins sold, we funded the whole project in advance. It just felt like the right thing to do, but we have some very nice coins from a few also that had to get money early in the process. Either way, we have always been happy are amazed at all the new creations..

EM sent for trade or buy. They look very nice and the icon's, they are realllllly nice.

Same for us, we drop them and often will do so in a cache that we have been to before, and then not log the drop, or sometimes will drop one, pm the owner and then they can decide if they wish to race over and get before I log. On our last trip to Washington, we put out over 30 coins and 40 pins. We generally use the honor system here and so if you find a coin that is a keeper in a cache, and you already have one, we leave it for the next hunter.

I like to post my dnf's as they let the owner know someone is trying, or that there may be an issue, and the stories, can't beat them.. I may not post every time I go back, like everyone else posted "quick find" and I am on try number 23, but then will do a wrap up in my log.
