In the middle of forming a potential PQ and all of a sudden start getting 501 server errors Logged off, shut browser down and reopened. Unable to log in. Log for forum works fine

Why is so much space wasted on Random Route of the moment? Trying to pull routes and most of the page is wasted on places not even near or even in the same part of the US that I am in. I still cannot get to page 2 or beyond to see results of my search for a exisiting route. It's a bummer as I am trying to get multiple qureries pulled.

Getting ready for a two week road trip. I know I can creat a route, but for some reason when I try to search for a public route I may get 99 results with many pages. I get the first page, but when I go to page two, three or beyond, the screen goes back to a informative start screen. How do I look at results beyond page 1?

Ordered 5 and will get them on the road as soon as they get here. The more that are floating around, the better.

Make sure you have the number/letters correct 8 vs B, l vs 1, etc. Otherwise send an email to contact@geocaching.com and include the tracking number. Yes, I did and also that the baggie, sticker and decal all matched. I was lucky the numbers and activation code are of the type that can't be mixed up. I sent off em to geo.com and will wait for their reply. thanks

The idea of having a decal on your car is pretty cool, and the the attention and "preferred "parking at GW-6 made it all the more fun to find, and log. I picked one up, but am having a problem with activation. I entered the tag number and activation code, and the page just goes back to step # 1 and can't get to the next item. Thought I'd ask here before I send off a trouble ticket. What could I be doing wrong?

I wish I was as careful as some may be with their gps, but the fact is that I somehow manage to get it into a pocket with keys, coins, or multi-tool. Without trying to sound like a commercial for Invisible Shield, I had used other screen protectors, and found them to tear or fail in short order on my pda and extrex. I now use only Invisible Shield as they hold up really well and even with a few bubbles still love it. For some reason, I was able to get the one on my Etrex and our 60cx fine, but when I put it on my 60Csx, got a few bumps. No matter, still does what I need.

Like the shaped one, would probably buy a couple and use one for my boat keychain..

It clearly states on the site that we can now keep these coins in our collections if we choose to do that. Is the site wrong? I am glad they got this cleared up on the web page, but made no difference to me as when I requested the coin, it was to be placed and moved. Coverage is the goal to get the word out. I am going to show it to everyone at work that I see, then tell them about it, and move it so the next person can spread the word. This is an important issue. Thanks for picking such a worthy cause.

It is a DVD, not a CD. Good point, I forgot, many still don't have DVD drives on their pc.. $20 - 50 can fix that real quick if that's the issue.

No, it worked fine for me without a hitch. Is the cd unit working ok, do you have any other software running, try rebooting, do not load any other applications and give it a try again.

V 8 will work on two units, I just loaded it on our second 60Cx three days ago and it went without a hitch. I just received V 8 two months ago. Ver 2008, which I will be loading on my other unit, will only work on one as stated. The s/n of the unit, combined with the code provided with the software, go to the Garmin site, and it will give you your unlock code which ONLY works on the unit provided.

My brother is asking for advice: Is Magellan Explorist 100 GPS receiver ok? Pretty inexpensive but maybe ok for first timer? I am a Garmin user and do not know the Magellon line of products, but he wishes to start geocaching on a budget.

This is one of those places that is just not about price. At this price point, it is a great deal and for a few bucks, you join to purchase and get a rebate back at the end of the year, services are beyond reproach, and they stand behind everything they sell.

Garmin came thru as I received today full version of City Navigator ver 2008. Now just need to load and will be a happy camper.. Thank you Garmin

I have used screen protectors supplied by my local office supply and electronics store, much cheaper and you get more of them for your money. They work just fine,,, oh did you say you wanted to use the item that you placed it on? Just some pocket change wore a hole thru them. Got Invisible Shield for my Etrex worked like a champ, outdoors, in my pack, in my pocket. I now only use them, have them on my camera, three Garmins, and my Palm t/x. Worth every penny.. They are made for us..

Since it is the weekend, and no Garmin to ask.. I just purchased NT and they sent me ver 8.0, I understand that 2008 will be 1 package for one unit, but what about 8.0? Is it a function of date of purchase, such as after a specific date all versions of NT will be 1 for 1, or do you think I can load ver 8.0 on two of my units, then get the upgrade when ready? I have been waiting for the full version of 2008, but seems soooooo slow getting it out

Nice thing about the forum is you learn stuff... My son has City Select ver 7 so am going to run it on my 60Csx until CN 2008 comes out. I am glad they are holding up release of the new software until it is more ready to go than maybe MS would do, however, being slightly ocd, can't focus, eat or sleep until it is released and I have it..
