  1. Not quite there yet. Norfolk Grey is indeed a chicken A Staffordshire blue is not A Midhurst white is also not (You are right that far) So what are the blue and the white? Clue: They would do a lot of damage if you tried to eat them - especially to your teeth.
  2. No. You have one of the 3 correctly identified but I'm not saying which one.
  3. It seems to have been a temporary glitch as caches have now reappeared.
  4. Goodness. That really was a complete guess - possibly revealing my opinions of politicians. Anyway onward and upward to something different. Midhurst White ; Norfolk Grey; Staffordshire Blue; Which is the odd one out and to avoid it having a 33% chance of a correct guess you must say why it is the odd one out.
  5. On Firefox 29.0.1 with Grease Monkey 1.154 and GME 0.6.9.2 I get all the maps but no overlay of the caches - just plain maps. Off on holiday in a week so I hope it can be sorted by then.
  6. A complete guess following your clue. An MP was claiming sweeties on his expenses
  7. This appears to be blatant Cache Advertising which has always be frowned on in the past except for event caches.
  8. I don't think rolling up at your local army base asking for ammo boxes in this country would get you anywhere except in deep trouble as a terrorist suspect. I have often seen them in the Militaria stalls in Antique centers. As far as I recall they are around the £8 mark
  9. At a guess its the hole under the launch pad at Cape Canaveral/Kennedy that deflects the blast of the rocket engines at blast off
  10. I can't keep shtum any more - Governor General Hurray a ding at last. He was indeed Govenor General under his "real" name of Baron Tweedsmuir. Over to you
  11. No! It's in English and both words start with the same letter.
  12. The "of" is right but still 2 words to go. SP said something important - it ranks above a mere PM.
  13. That was the boy scouts that's a ding over to you Thanks. John Buchan, the novelist, had a day-job in the latter half of the 1930's. What was the Job?
  14. As Speakers Corner said, look at the help that is available in logs etc or ask the owner. It's up to the owner to decide whether to give extra hints or not.
  15. I have always found a good selection of sizes and shapes of magnets on EBay For suppliers of ready made nanos see Graculus' 'Resources for Geocachers in UK and Ireland' which is pinned at the top of this forum
  16. Thanks for the tip. I assumed that it only referred to hand held devices but I have now got a free month on the strength of my Dezl satnav.
  17. I have never been there so I ca'nt say for certain but on Google Earth it looks as though there is a carpark at N55 0.801 W1 52.801
  18. I've never heard of GDAK -- did you mean GSAK? If so GSAK will only run on windows not IOS.
  19. I feel if it were a hamlet there would be no church! I agree with Dodgy Dave. The OED says noun a small settlement, generally one smaller than a village, and strictly (in Britain) one without a church.
  20. I'm using Firefox 24.0 on XP and logs are showing up as normal
