I just got a Jr. and turned on. When I press big button it starts with number 1, then little button to see GC code. my problem here is the diaginal parts of letters etc. are very faint and thinner and almost unreadable, the vertical and horizontal lines are fatter and darker. Is this a regular problem with the Jr. or is the display not working properly. Thank You for your help.

I am a beginner to geocaching and the paperless part looks interesting also. I have looked the various forums and the devices that other members are using. I don't known enough about any of those bei;ng used for paperless goecaching and could you recommend some pda's or pocket pc's etc. That would do a good jobwith paperless and maybe not to hard to use or program and have the needed functions and memory requirements. I signed up for regular membership on May 10th. My IRS refund check just came in the mail. I have looked at many posts and reviews of GPS's and narrowed the list down to two. I can get the Garmin 60CSx for $199.00 or the Oregon 450 for $289.00 or $299.00. I would appreciate any help in deciding between the two, the pros and cons, pluses and minuses, or any other ideas. Thank You for your help in this momentus decision.

i do not have gps yet. the geomate Jr. looks interesting. i like the garmin 60CSx also. can the 60CSx do paperless? which would be better the 24k micro SD or the 24k dvd northeast? i found 1 cache using my garmin car gps.
