  1. I'm in no rush either and I think it would be nice to log the original Blech coin for the entire mission. I'm sure docwahala will pass it along fairly quickly after they get back, which according to their earlier posts of traveling five weeks, should be soon. I don't know how recently you've sent an email, but perhaps another friendly reminder would be good, in case they're back and forgot:)
  2. Just sent you an email:) August the 26 and 27 looks good to me.
  3. What a fantastic use of shadows in the photo for the "ye ole booty" box. It's really quite stunning. By the way.. 23 is my favorite number! My sheltie girl's birthday is 1-23-04. 23 has been very lucky for me. Good luck to anyone who gets the ye ole booty box! I send some good luck with it! Does that pirate have super hairy armpits protruding from his shirt? Lol! Hahahah.....Those are no hairy armpits, but long lustrous pirate locks.
  4. KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid....these people are just sending a card plus the trackables:)
  5. Yeah, I was kinda thinking that if they were ever stolen, it would be great that the coin is registered to you. Then if it popped up on ebay you could promptly notify the police. Though hopefully I'd never run into this situation! Also, some of your coins, if released in the wild, might disappear really fast (ie. Oceania and Sea of treasures), and you probably would never get them back. From several threads that I've read the key thing to keep in mind is, if you do release a coin for travel, be prepared to lose it forever.
  6. Perhaps it would be a good idea to post the participants geoname and the total quantity they're doing??? This is just a suggestion that I've seen from doing other missions and sometimes ends-up a good check/reminder for both organizer and participant
  7. You're correct, but they're supposed to spin:) When I sent them an email they responded within a day and within a few emails we decided to send them back (since there was a flaw at the mint) and they were going to send me replacements (once their's got in). I haven't received my new BN Geocookies yet, but it's only been a few weeks. I don't know how yours will work, considering it is a sample coin and might not be replaceable.
  8. Hopefully you will get some of your answers in this similar thread Geocoin activation/unactivation
  9. Thanks for updating the list, Fuzziebear3:) I made one adjustment to the list. Box #17 was originally the "Butterfly catches the snake" box (not #19), but then WSR and I agreed to change it to "Double Butterfly," so, I believe that #19 still has no name.
  10. Thanks for sharing a picture of your loot!! I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures that Kat took of them. Now, I'm getting all excited again and can't wait for mine to come.
  11. I hope your BOX doesn't make noises like that.
  12. So true. I got mine on Monday and they are brilliant!! I love the design, the swirling sea kelp on the back and the great colors you chose for all of them.
  13. I received my starfish last week, my very first ones, and I would like to say that they are so darn cute. Good job AtlandaGal:)
  14. Ooooo....this believer is intrigued:)...and hoping that Mr. Gray will hover over caches in my area.
  15. Oh my god, I misspelled the one and only holy box!!! Please forgive me, I'm unworthy ; I'm unworthy ; I'm unworthy !!!!!! I know I can't righting this but at least I can try: Box #1 is the BOXNUMBERONE or Bell Box Box #2 is the Hacky Sacks Box Box #3 is the Bison Tube Box Box #4 is the Hamster Box Box #5 is the Loss of Memory Box Box #6 is the Reese's Cups Box Box #7 is the Junk Drawer Box Box #8 is the Fanny Box Box #9 Box #10 Box #11 Box #12 Box #13 Box #14 is the Top Secret Information Box Box #15 Box #16 is Thunder from Down Under Box Box #17 Box #18 Box #19 is Butterfly catches the snake Box Box #20 Box #21 Box #22 Box #23 Box #24 Box #25 will be named by WSR Let's call BOX #17 the "Double Buterfly Box". It has two Butterfly stamps on the outside The "Double Butterfly Box" will work too. I was hinting to what the butterfly might be carrying , but I think your suggestion works better with the rest of the named "boxes."
  16. Can you tell me who made this nice cat coin? AtlantaGal Here is the thread to the coin:) Oceanside Kitties
  17. Woooooohooooo!!! My little train finally pulled into another station, and gathered some miles
  18. Locality Mission Email sent: May 2, 2011 Name received: Package sent: Package received: I would like to do a Locality Mission. I love to travel and enjoy seeing/receiving things from other people in different areas:) So, I would love a package of things from the area(s) of where the sender lives/travels/visits and things/goodies they like, find fun, or treasure.
  19. I was one of these people I'm sure:) I have spotty internet access where I live, so on the weekends I don't get too much internet browsing in, unless I'm at a friends house:) But, I reserved a set this morning...thanks for redoing these:)
  20. I believe Laval-K9's box is the "Fanny Box" because of her address label. If I remember right it was "Fanny and Friends." Also, you can put box #19 as the "Butterfly catches the snake." p.s. Yangai, you misspelled the holiest of boxes. You better fix this quick before WSR releases the hounds upon you.
