    Extremely disappointed in the German mask coin sale that just occurred. I had the quantities in my shopping cart, was on the PayPal page, hit confirm payment and then I was denied, stating the coin was sold out. <_<

    I wasn't because I was late to the sale, either. I refreshed the page until I could add to my cart. I had my order in in less than 2 minutes from the sale start, but was denied. Not fair at all. If it's in my cart, I should have been locked in. There was no delay between the cart and PayPal.

     

    How long were the coins on sale before selling out? 150 Geocoins is quiet a few to sell out quickly. Has anyone contacted the store order to confirm there wasn't an issue with the site concerning the coin sale?

    The sale was supposed to start at exactly 6:18pm time in Germany (12.18pm my time, Eastern US). When I refreshed at 6:17pm, the purchase buttons were activated. From what I can tell, they literally sold out 150 coins in less than 3 minutes. I feel a little better knowing I'm not the only one who seemed to have had a bad experience.

    Our german event was a big sucess too and we had a lot of fun.

    We were a little bit over 100 people some with really nice dresses.

    Due to the event orders I will have a few left here and gave some leftovers to mygeocoin.de.

    The Blech Nickel coin pass Mission

    The mission arrived yesterday while I was at work. Took pic this morning. Looks like a garden theme! Everything I need to "think Spring" :lol: There were so many great things: Hummingbird Wind Spinner (claimed by my mom), pansy and impatiens starter kits, a lawn gnome, a handwritten note from Maine Family, a few trackers and a micro (separate from the 10 coin pass), and of course the address list and blech nickel/logbook.

    I traded all 10 of the coins, and have replaced with 10 new ones. The gift I purchased for Six Little Spookies will arrive at my doorstep today, so I should have everything packed up for him and will bring to the post office tomorrow (Sat). Here are the coins I am sending:

    To all Venetian Mask Fans

     

    I will have the German Mardi Gras Event on Saturday.

    To see pictures from the event, costumes and our costumes parade on sunday, just click into the event listing.

    I will have them in probably by Tuesday/Wednesday.

     

    A small amount of the "red-white" and the "gc-color" coins will be available in the mygeocoin shop.

    The sale probably starts end of next week concerning some other nice coins to be available together.

    Captain Hook Mystery Coin

    Looking in the mailbox Saturday morning for my daily dose of postcards and what did I spy?? A bubble mailer. Quick brain check... did I order any coins? .. oh heck! what will the husband say when he learns I've been spending money on coins again?... I don't THINK I ordered any coins. I quickly grabbed the bubble mailer and stuffed it in my purse. : ) Sitting in the back corner of a local restaurant, I tore open the package to find a Captain Hook Mystery Coin! Oh my goodness! What did I do to deserve this??? : ) I thank Captain Hook from the bottom of my heart for his coin. It came just in time to help me celebrate my 1000th find! I also have a band of pirate travelers who have been to the South Carolina Coast with me.. they will eventually have their own Geo Event and great send off. This coin just suits all of us to a tee. Thank you, thank you.. thank you.

     

    PS.. I will post some sort of picture shortly.

    I'd love to see a pic of this coin. Can't wait! :lol:
