  1. I was in a state park alone one time going after an easy cache and as I topped a hill on the hiking trail I heard some runing through the leaves and I stopped and to my horror it was a Bob-cat about 25 yards away in the crouched position. I had a walking stick, but I was still shaking. I just made myself as big as I could and raised both arms up and started yelling and moving toward the Bob-cat. Luckly it was more scared of me than I was of it.
  2. Most all commercial jets fly around 500 to 575 MPH. Now in some cases there may be a tail wind of up to 100 MPH. Safe crusing speed usually does not exceed 635 MPH. Now some fighter jets fly from 700 MPH to 1100 MPH. So I'm not sure what kind of planes some of you were on.. Maybe the SR71 Blackbird....
  3. I always wanted to hide a cache down the barrel of a shotgun, But if you wusses won't even go after an electrictal box. No i'm just kidding.... Where I come from it is illeagal to go around attaching things to light post, power poles, and other such city or state owned structures that might be confused as a bomb or some device of terror by local authorities.
  4. You guys can say what you want to and bash micro's all day but when its all said and done at the end of the day, it's all about the hunt. It's not what cool toy I found or how far this TB's been. Its that feeling I get when I find the cache. Big or small. The smaller they are the more challenging it is. Most of the ammo cans I have found, you can see a big pile of leaves and sticks from 50 feet away. That takes some of the fun out of the hunt. I am an avid deer hunter and if I killed a deer everytime I went into the woods, I would get bored with it pretty fast. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE HUNT. Lets enjoy all cache's and try not to bash micro's. Just my 2 cents..
