  1. Data that is listed on a cache web page is being changed by someone other than the person that is operating the cache. How can this happen? Kcseagull
  2. I think it would be nice if some of the folks that work directly with geocaching, such as publishers and site owners, would stop and think that we are all simply trying to have fun. Some seem to think the geocaching world belongs to them and if you don't do it just the way they think it should be done then they give you a hard time. None us are making any money doing this, that I know of, and we are all trying to have fun, get some exercise and see some interesting places. Some are smarter than others and some are not a as smart as they may think they are. Let's just have fun. Kcsegull
  3. Thanks Drat! We miss you down here. Kcseagull
  4. During Hurricane Katrina, we were forced to archive a cache. Now that repairs are being made to the area we feel we are now in a posisiton to reactivate this "archived" cache. How do we do that? Kcseagull
  5. The geocaching survey form was a good idea but I'm not sure that the site works correctly. When I finished filling out the survey it never offer a "send" command to send it back to Geocaching. It simply went back to the beginning entries and they reflected they were already filled out. I'm not sure if you got it or not.??????????????????????????????? Regards, Kcseagull
  6. It's simple; we are supporting the program that we enjoy very much. Nothing is free. Somebody has to ante up. Kcseagull
  7. Losing the mileage takes away a lot of the fun in doing the TB's. I hope they come back.
  8. Thanks that make me feel better. At least I'm not losing all my marbles. Kcseagull
  9. I'm not real fast with this stuff but it is the maps that are on the lower right side of the cache page The new maps will show a location of the cache but it will, in most cases, only show roads and etc but nothing to identify the general area it is located in, such as a town name and etc. Strange things seem to be happening. The maps that are showing up now are the correct maps. Maybe I'm smoking left handed cigarettes.......For the past weeks the maps have not been the usual maps that you see on the cache pages. I can't explain it.

  11. The maps that are being used with the new format leave a good bit to be desired. Not a complaint just a thought. Kcseagull
  12. Leprechauns: Thanks for your reply. I'm still not sure what is going on with this thing but I'll keep after it and see if it can be solved. I really appreciate your effort. I apologize for all the confusion, but the listing kept getting moved around and someone fussing about the spelling in some poor guys listing and etc. and etc. I hope we will all remember that Geocaching was once fun. Regards, Kcseagull
  13. I will list something on this site and someone keep moving it to another location. Why? Kcseagull
  14. I'm sorry, what do you mean Markwell
  15. Everyone that has TB seems to have this problem. We have three that are in the hands of active members yet they will not put the bugs back down. One even acknowledges that he has it, needs to put it down but does nothing. I guess you just have to move one and consider that some folks just don't get it. Kcseagull
