Just heard an announcement that Davis County in Utah will be proposing to make Geocaching illegal due to recent events. I completely agree with you. You seem to really care about the upkeep of your caches. He should have emailed you and told you about the change of the trees. If everyone could just drop a cache down where they couldn't find one, geocaching would be a disaster!!! I'm about to hide my first cache, and I'm glad to have this situation brought up in case it happens to be in the future (hopefully not) =)

One of our local Geocachers put together an event with the local bomb squad (GC2J2C3) I thought that was a great idea! The bomb squad got to learn about geocaching, and Geocachers got to learn about what not to make their caches look like.

We are brand new to geocaching (54 finds) so I easily able to go back and give a favorite point to my favorites. I didn't give away all my favorite points, but the ones I did give one to truley deserved it! I personally love this feature. I'm able to see which caches are awesome! My ultimate favorite... GC1Y60D!

I've heard of people getting TB tattoos. So If I buy the tracking number, could I tattoo it on myself and consider myself the travel bug?

Ok, I redid the log and It took it out of the inventory, but now it's not showing up in my trackables in order to drop it in the new cache, grrrr

We found a TB and logged it that we have retrieved it. We have now placed it in a new cache, but I'm having issues. The travel bug is still showing up in the cache's inventory that we picked it up from... So I can't place it in the new cache's log. If someone could help me that would be great. Here's the cache GC1DWNZ. And the TB is MY BMW R100RS. It shows us retrieving it on the TB log. HELP!

My husband picked a cache to find titled "ewwww" When he did find it, he said "ewwww". The person who placed it molded some plastic to look like chewed up gum and placed it under a utility box. The cache was in the middle of the "gum" It was awesome!
