  1. Another great coin form the sea!! Mine are ordered
  2. Here are my boys out hiding some caches. Jiggs helps me hide them, not too interested in finding them, Scooter is great for sniffing out caches though! Jiggs: Scooter: DOGS RULE!!
  3. I live close by and need to go do some maintenence (or replacment) on one of my nearby caches. I will bring the goods to fix it up. If no one steps up to adopt it after a bit I will see about adoption.
  4. That is mighty nice of you! Former Marine, Current Active National Guard!
  5. Got my coins today, just activated them (Thanks Rusty), Love them. Agree that the tracking number on coin #2 is a bit hard to read. Will be ordering more, Thanks Again!!
  6. I attach all mine with keyrings and I don't see how they would become seperated without someone doing it on purpose.
  7. Put me down for two sets also!
  8. Had a contractor out from Chicago doing some work at my company. He asked me if I knew anything about GPSs. I told him I had been using them for years in the military, why? So he pulled up geocaching.com on the computer and showed me some of the local caches. I didn't really get it at the time, thought it was interesting, but didn't pursue it then. A few months later Uncle Sam send me orders telling me I have been mobilized and headed over to the big sandbox. So I make a wish list of stuff I need before I go, GPSr being one of them, and prepare to head overseas. Well after 5 months in lovely FT Drum NY, I never wind up going and get stationed stateside on a Homeland Security type mission. So now that I had a GPSr I checked into the website that contractor pointed out so long ago and found my first cache in 2 feet of snow. Now that I am an addict I have converted 3 more Muggles to the dark side!
  9. I had it for a minute.........
  10. I also did this cache a few weeks before tass123 and the only reason that I think I wasn't approached by someone who was there who was eyeballing me, was the fact that I was in uniform with a clipboard in my hand. Caching in Metro Boston and the surrounding area, people will call the cops on you fairly quickly. I do find that carrying a clipboard, and hang some sort of I.D off a lanyard around your neck, people will leave you alone. Military uniforms also help. And the cache is not on school property for those wondering.
  11. I leave my cache printouts & binder on the passenger seat incase someone pulls in after me and looks in my truck like you guys do (and as I do) The GEO oval sticker dosen't get noticed in Northern Mass as one of the local town is Georgetown and people assume that is what it means. I do scan cars when stuck in traffic looking for any sign of a fellow cacher stuck in the gridlock
  12. Nissan Frontier (My second one, but not my last), Garmin Rino 120, Loyal to both!
  13. There are two types. Green and black. The green containers hold the real decon kits (For chemical contamination) the black one held the training kits, which look similar, but are really only wet wipes in the same packaging. The black ones seems to be easier to open when you find them in a Army surplus store. Either way the lowest bidder made them, so....
