  1. Recently I've come across a cache or two where the owner had logged it as "Found" themselves...thus boosting their numbers. Curiously, I attempted to log my own cache as found and succeeded, I then deleted the log as it was only a test. Just curious if there's any guidelines regarding owners logging their own caches as found? Cheers
  2. All, My question is: Is there a program out there that will recognise my Garmin Etrex H unit, and use it's current co-ordinates to establish the location on a map e.g. Google Maps and also track those locations. Cheers, Oz_Snow
  3. Hello all. I plan to do a day walk very soon, which includes a number of caches. I've noticed that one of the caches which I pass, is "temporarily unavailable" due to being 'muggled'. As this cache was made "temporarily unavailable" on the 23rd of March, almost 3 months ago, it seems as if the owner is unable or not going to replace this cache in the near future. As it's along the way on my planed walk, is it acceptable if I place a new cache there? Being around the same size. Then update the cache file on Geocaching.com and message the owner? If I can do that, how would I undo the "temporarily unavailable" status and make it "available" since I'm not the cache owner. Also, the last time the owner has logged into Geoaching.com was: Sunday, 11 April 2010. Cheers, Michael A.
