Having been pushing for a Flat Holm trip, why did no one tell me one had been added?! Oh, you did
I've signed up and hope to see a good crowd there. If it's anything like 2009's CITO on Steep Holm - one of my all-time favourite events - it'll be a corker! Thanks for the update.
All you need is the weather to get across - we all tried and finally made it at the third attempt and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. As long as Matrix is not going you should be OK he cancelled the third time and we were fine LOL

Got ours and looking forward to the events and meeting friends from all over the counrty and making new friends
-
Go on - have a guess as I have no idea

Welcome Brendan
I hope your grandparents are planning on bringing you to Mega Wales during your summer holidays and a chance to meet up with others of your own age.

This is a very busy time for reviewers as so many new caches are being put out. Red Duster who approved your last cache is also a new reviewer who is still getting into his / her stride and learning the process. I would say wait a few days and see what happens - most of the reviewers also pop in here regularly and will see your concern and be able to give you more information on what to do.
It is frustrating as you wait but all will be well (hopefully) as your caches move up the queue.

Krys - If you have any more questions hopefully you will be able to ask them at the S Wales event next weekend as three reviewers are likely to be there Fingers and toes crossed for nice weather for the campers!!!

60 and staying there - well until Sat anyway
-
Very sad news
-
Well done to you both
-
Sunday slow day
I'd log them tomorrow
-
Fantastic news
I look forward to meeting you both at an event in the future

I wondered what I was seeing then!!!

Welcome and beware this can quickly become an addiction
I sent out 5 travel bugs from a junior school 6 years ago and use Geocaching as part of our Geography work - the kids love it. I took them out last year to search for 7 caches (ours ) on a Nature Reserve they took it in turns and signed the logs!!

I reckon I am probably being dense here, but what exactly is a pond dipping session?
Gather around pond, warden gives out nets and empty icecream containers (or similar), you start dipping to see what interesting creatures you can catch. That's how it generally works.
I don't think you get to eat your catch afterwards...

Thank you, I don't think I'll worry to much if I miss that I do believe that myself and my cohorts which I shall be travelling with may try and attend the actual event.
Thank you Lucilla for your excellent explanation - something to keep children busy is the idea. If you look at our Creature Comfort series it shows the area and Kenfig Pool about 500 yds away from the pub!!!
Haggis Hunter - I really hope you can call in it would be great to see you again and your friends
-
I'll be there I think....
Just need to try and work out the logistics of all these bloomin events, I'm not half as organised as I usually am this year!!
But plenty of time for you to get organised - a few months yet
glad you are planning on being there
-
would of come to this one but one day before little snails 1st birthday, so jelly and ice cream for us instead
lmn
Lots of icecream in Porthcawl it is a seaside town - and I'll make you a jelly if you attend LOL

Anyone already in the Gower/Swansea area or travelling to Swansea for Mega Wales - you are invited to Mollyjak's Sand and Sarnies event. Two miles off the M4 and 2 miles to Porthcawl. The event is from 12noon to 6pm to allow for Friday travellers

This event is based in a pub which was originally the Old Town Hall and built over 500 years ago(and is apparently haunted according to the Landlord). Also very close to Kenfig Nature Reserve with a number of caches already there (and more planned ) A pond dipping session 1.30pm - 2.30pm has been arranged with the Wardens but places need to be booked as numbers are limited.
This event is dog and child friendly.
We look forward to welcoming old and new friends to our beautiful area.
If we can help at all please contact us.

Aww go on - put us out of our misery - tell us please, pretty please
Wonder if I will know who it is even if I do get told LOL

Have you tried emailing the cache setter and asking him/her to check which ones are correct? May be worth a try
