  2. I'm sorry you aren't being challenged with this system, use the filters provided. A 1/1 cache for you may be boring, but think about a handicaped cacher. Handicaching[/ It could be the most exciting thing that's happened for them in a while. The system is working well with the 1's and the 5's. I wish you well with placing your own caches at whatever level you choose. There are plenty of us newbies and handicaped that are happy with the 1's, TFTH's
  3. Have been full time RVing since 05/01. We don't call it camping, we travel in a 40' diesel motorhome and tow a jeep wrangler (used for our caching events). We have been fortunate to have traveled to about 35 states so far, plan on hitting all of them. The Garmin 3600 aids us in traveling the country, then doubles in the jeep for geocaching, It works great. We been able to go paperless by using our cell phones as modems, and downloading to our 3600. I was diagnosed with cancer in 00' which started us thinking about our future. Tim McGraw has the best advise "live like you were dying". Have since acquired diabetes and heart problems. The Geocaching affords us a method of excerise other than just walking and we love it. Please don't think that we are complaining, life is wonderful and exciting. We plan on continuing as long as we can. A message for all you over 40 males. "Do you know you PSA" TFTH's and God Bless
  4. Not actually from P'cola, but consider it our 2nd home. We come every year. We have been here this trip since the 2nd week of Jan, and plan on staying a few months this time. We always stay at the Blue Angel Naval Recreation area along Perdido Bay. Have enjoyed several hunts since we got here. We have been doing alot of CITO at the sites, but we need alot more CITO's. Looking forward to more hunts here. Team....Dave & Carrie
  5. I hope this helps a bit. My wife and I have been full time RVing for 4 years now. We drive a 40' diesel motorhome and tow a jeep wrangler. We use a Garmin 3600 Palm, with a 1 gig SD card. With the SD card we are able to have about 75% of the US map available all the time, plus P.O.I., services, etc. The portability allows us the ability to use it in both vehicles, plus while geocaching, and it does talk to is. It is very user friendly. Anymore questions, just ask. Team....Dave & Carrie
